Saito & Pho II — Restaurant in Oʻahu

Pretty good place to eat when visiting Waianae coast. Good food is always a problem on this part of the island, and was excited to try this place. They took over I believe the space that was previously occupied by Steaks and Things.

It is a no frill place with very minimal decor. As an owner of a restaurant myself I know how expensive it is to open one, and I can appreciate the fact that someone was able to pull it off with only a minimal investment. Yet the place is clean, and at the end this is all it counts: My family of 5 just ordered 4 Pho soups and an order of Pho Burrito. One order of the latter consisted of 2 burritos cut into two pieces each, with four pieces total. The burritos disappeared before I was able to pull out my phone, hence no picture. Everyone loved it, even I was able to get two bites, and it was delicious. I really regret for not ordering it as my main dish. Our pho soups were pretty good, better than I expected: The service was really friendly. Overall, we will probably make it our usual stop after a family trip to the Kaena...

I use to think this is the best by far pho place. The soup is jus an awesome broth. I been eating here all the time for more then 2 years. I could say once every 2 weeks dine in or take out bite squad. N b4 Covid food was great!! service was great !! Same waitresses but the past 5 times I been there always new faces working. There all over the place n I think due to not right training. Very stuck up with no respect or manners. Jus have poor customer service n food service training. The restaurant was not even busy n yet they always forget to bring items we ordered to the table. They focused more on take out. I usually tip more then what I usually suppose to cus I worked as a server in fast pace places or in the food industry for 10years+. For a reaturant in waianae this was so far , the best. The decorations were very beautiful. Also the menu looked very nice. Another thing I liked was there staff. There staff was very respectful. But for a small place by waianae area this is fantastic. My family of 5 ordered Chicken Katsu , 2 combination pho , and tempura udon . The food was not the best to be honest. The tempure udon had a very weird smell , also did not have the best taste. The chicken katsu , was pretty good. But some of the chicken peices were raw. But the tempura and the 2 combination pho was very delicious. I like how they gave us a seperate plate of vegtables. But this was a pretty good...
