Kabana Grill — Restaurant in Oʻahu

We were passing a small collection of roadside shacks in the Oahu interior where we found a Brazilian grill with a 5/5 rating. We HAD to stop. Definitely deserved the rating! If you are on your way from Honolulu to the north shore, do yourself a favor and stop in.

I had a chicken and beef plate lunch with potato salad and “vinaigrette “ as sides. The beef and chicken were expertly grilled, and thankfully unadorned with sauces. Great flavor! The potato salad was heavy on the mayo as are most Hawaiian salads. The vinaigrette is a sweet, vinegary salsa that was really good.

My companion has the steak sandwich and she raved about the flavors, again unadorned with sauces to let the natural beef flavor come through.

I work next door to these guys, and I almost literally eat there every day! Their food is absolutely delicious. The pecan plate is my favorite, and their rice and black beans are so ono. The location is unbeatable, with an incredible lake view and two decks right by the water. The service is awesome, and the staff is super friendly.

Had their food from a booth stand today out at aloha stadium but it is amazing nonetheless. Their food was by far my favorite from among 4 vendors that i tried. Super friendly crowd and they were wonderful to my kiddos. I would rent a car next time so i can visit their actual restaurant.
