Lanikai Beach 🐢🏝️ This is honestly one of the most beautiful beaches I’ve ever been to, and I’ve been lucky enough to see quite a few. There’s something really special about it that photos just can’t capture. The water is so clear and the colors are unreal, with soft white sand and even the little islands in the background. Being here feels like stepping into one of those overly edited perfect beach pictures you see online, except it’s real.

I even went snorkelling and I came across turtles in the deep and even watched some come closer to the shallows. At one point I swam alongside a turtle from a safe distance and it actually led me toward another one. It was such a calm, beautiful moment to take in. The coral and all the tropical fish made the experience even more unforgettable.

Relaxing beach - Lanikai is beautiful for a relaxing day at the beach and great to bring kids. The water is calm and fairly shallow. This is not an exciting beach for snorkeling. But would be great for paddle boarding and easy kayaks. Here's some things to know about Lanikai: There is no parking lot, but the neighborhood surrounding the beach has a lot of street parking so you don't always have to walk far. Entrance to the beach is through walkways that are between houses, like an alley, every so often. There are not any rentals close to this beach. You will need to bring your own. Rental delivery places are legally not allowed to deliver to this beach since it's in Kailua. You can view the mokes from this beach. Not ideal for sunsets. Beautiful...

One of the top 10 beaches in the world- pretty much does not matter which review you read or what publication, when the top beaches in the world are listed, Lanikai is always one of those beaches. Seemingly secluded, the beach itself is a long extended waterfront area looking at the mocu Islands and the Hawaiian Islands in the distance. I have been on beaches around the world and the lonniekai sand is the absolute softest powder sand that you will find anywhere.
