I have been coming to the smoothie location in Kailua for years. My boys and I enjoy their smoothies so much, and even though the prices have gone up, we have still continued to contribute to the business. I had my puppy who was sick at the vet I decided that I was starving and I would stop to get a smoothie on my way to pick up my children. I did not have time to drop my dog back off. I drove around the parking lot twice and couldn’t find a spot in their pick up locations in front of their store so I parked in the back of the parking lot pulled out my phone and tried to order online crashed two or three times while I was trying to check out in fact, I’m still trying to get a refund because I was charged twice. I decided I had to take my puppy with me because I didn’t feel comfortable leaving him in the car while he was not feeling well. He’s a 10 pound puppy and I realize that no dogs are allowed in the store but he’s also considered my emotional support dog, so unfortunately thought I would use that as an excuse to run in order and then wait outside. I did this and and after years of coming in for smoothies, I will not be going back to this location. When the man told me that was not allowed to have dogs inside, I said I completely understand. I tried to order on the website it didn’t work. I was just running into order and I would wait outside. He was not very kind. he looked away and was very rude and, not understanding at all of my situation which once again I understand, he didn’t know the entire story. I ordered and promptly went outside. my smoothie sat on the counter for a total of 10 minutes. Nobody came to tell me that it was ready. I could see it from the outside, but I wasn’t certain how to go in and get it because I didn’t want to make anybody mad again when I finally got somebody’s attention and pointed at the smoothie is that because I didn’t want to upset the man he looked away and didn’t even bother to acknowledge me. I opened the door and he started to tell me as I asked him about the smoothie that had been sitting there for roughly 8 to 10 minutes. He barked at me yes that’s your smoothie. I am shocked at the poor customer service and I’m sad to say that I will not visit this location again even though we live down the street. We were willing to pay the high prices for a local business that we really enjoyed unfortunately I won’t be using my hard earned money towards a smoothie in the middle of the day anymore for a place that treats their long time customers that way. I would prefer to go to another smoothie place down the street that has more of...
Read moreCame in around 9. Ordered two açaí bowls and a smoothie.
Wanted to order “today’s special” which was an açaí bowl with 10 % off advertised on a poster and on a board in front of the register. After a bit of confusion from the girl behind the register on why the special didn’t show up, the lady in charge told us the special ended the 13th of March and today was the 14th, for then to tear down all the posters on the special. We could still order that specific açaí bowl, but we could not get 10 % off. Quite special ;-)
We then went ahead and ordered two açaí bowls and a smoothie. Waited inside. After about 10 min we were asked to wait outside (assume due to covid restrictions), and they would bring the food out.
After about 20 min I was asked, to my surprise, if I had ordered. I said yes and repeated our order, but they hadn’t even started our order. From there it took about 15 min until we had our two açaí bowls and the smoothie.
They said they had two interns at work, which I understand can take longer, so hopefully this is a one off and we had bad luck.
Total wait time; 35-40 minutes. We we’re not in a rush, but that was a bit too long and also very chaotic.
The bowls and the smoothie was really...
Read moreMy husband and I used to come here often but we had a very undesirable experience that has left us not wanting to return to this location. Let me tell you about that experience. So my husband decided to try a new drink so he spawned off and got a different drink. We walked out after getting our drinks when my husband tried his drink and realized that he didn't like it. No big deal right?! We go back inside and inform the cashier of this who then tells Yolanda. First, Yolanda says that the cups we had weren't theirs. I informed her that we had just purchased the drinks as we literally had just walked out of the store. As if that weren't rude enough she then asks if my husband was allergic to it. I again told her that he just didn't like it and wanted his regular drink instead. She finally remade it but needless to say that as paying customers we didn't have to go through all of that just to leave satisfied which we did not after being treated so poorly. I hope yolanda realizes that she should never treat customers that way and I want the company to know that because of their employee they lost us as customers. Luckily for us there are other locations but how unfortunate that this location is...
