Morning Brew — Restaurant in Oʻahu

Updated Review 2024: Food and Service: The only items worth getting is basic coffee and tea. Wait time for service and beverage was fairly short with acceptional quality. However, I ordered my wife and myself bagels with cream cheese for a quick bite. Waited around 12 min and attempted to cancel as we didn't expect this to take long. Asked to cancel only to be told over and over that it's almost out, preassuring me to wait. So I did so. Bagels came out with an EXCESSIVE amount of cream cheese making it very undesirable and a waste of time and money. Reason why I will be rating service and food quality low due to this.

Enviroment: Floors are stained black in a lot of areas along with broken concrete and poor painting throughout the store. Cleanliness standards seem to be low as the black build up appears only in hard reach areas (this may just be due to the time of the year I went (March). Lighting is well done and seating is fairly spaced. Furniture is modern and rustic but could use new sets (this did not affect my rating since its a personal opinion).

Just moved here to kailua was excited to try Morning Brew, heard they have good sandwiches. placed my order, while waiting looked around not really clean but hey, dives have good food too, and waited was a little busy, but not slammed mmm, and waited friendly staff, they kept looking at me and smiling but no initiative to see if everything is OK, finally asked about my order, as others had been served that ordered after me. There response was very casual, that order has gone out, no comment as to I will rush this order , offer a owner or manager, or show any senses of urgency to rectify this matter. We went there for breakfast.my friends can't speak English very well but we found Japanese menu so I thought we can order easily.bagle was really nice but We were SO DISAPPOINTED about casher guy who has blond hair.(we went to this cafe around 8am-9am on 13th/dec/2016) I had to pay $9.95 and I gave him $20.he gave me only 25cents..I was wondering he might give me another money later or I mistook.so I walked away to table and check by myself again.he should have given me about $10 more.so I asked him about that and he was like"yeah,I though it was mistake blah blah blah.he didn't say SORRY.also my friend paid about $9 and she gave him $20 and he gave her only 5cents..that's ripped off!!
