Nice park to come to when watching kids games. Parking lot off of Kailua road has ample parking spaces but if there is a game then spaces can be tight. You can park in lot across field off of Kainalu drive but then it can be a bit of a walk especially if you have allot to tote around. You could illegally park on the grass as I see other patrons doing or you could park in one of the nearby shopping center lots but just watch out for their security. Read moreOk place there's a pool but you must check the hours many times I went and it was either not open or not open for public free swim. There is showers and ample lifeguards and the place is fairly clean. There is a weight room which is free once you sign up for a safety tour. Great for basketball tournaments. It is close to the public library which is a plus. The park itself is a little iffy in regards to safety but a good thing is the police station is located ajacent to the park. When I was younger I practiced Pop Warner cheerleadering here for Kailua Mustangs and the football team would practice on the huge field. I also remember flying a kite here when I was little as the field has...
