Better save your receipt if you want to use the bathroom! Went through drive thru and ordered a breakfast bundle with extra hashbrown and ate in my jeep. After eating decided to use the bathroom and on my way into the restaurant tossed my trash in the receptacle located outside near the drive thru. As I entered saw two huge signs on the bathroom doors stating bathrooms are for paying guests only. I approached the one cashier (Marcie) and asked for the code since both bathroom doors are locked. Marcie in a quick and rude manner stated "only paying customers" to which I informed her that I had gone through the drive thru. She then asked for my receipt which I didn't have because it was in the trash. At this point I'm irritated but pulled open my banking app and showed her the McDonald's charge to which she replied "there is no address, that could be any McDonalds"....Are you kidding me!? I asked for the manager and Marcie replied that she is in charge of the front, she then went to the cooks and asked them if they remember my order and someone said yes they remember somebody ordering a extra hashbrown. Well thank you cook in the back, because of you validating my integrity I got the code to use the bathroom. Additionally I'm in my Army uniform with 22yrs of active duty service and 4 combat tours and Marcie is just treating me like I'm some degenerate criminal trying to sneak my way into the bathroom because I didnt save my receipt. Once my endeavors in the bathroom were complete I asked Marcie again for the store manager and was told she wasn't here but walking by was a manager so I stopped her (Mary Joe). I shared my complaints and issues with her about Marcie and the Fort Knox bathrooms and I might as well been talking to a wall. Only thing she did was stand there and stare at me while Marcie was in the background running her mouth saying "that's our policy". Not once did I get a apology (after the cook cleared my name) and everyone was tracking that I WAS a customer. I will never give this McDonald's another cent of my money and is the reason I drive out of my way to eat at places like Chick Fill A who value their customers. I mean seriously is this McDonald's losing revenue from people using their bathrooms who are not customers? What if I was stopping just to use the bathroom then decided since I'm stopped I'm going to order some food? Just poor management and...
Read moreI am so upset. I used to McDonalds app for the first time last week. The convenience of being able to order food for your teenagers from your phone when you are at work is great. I WILL NEVER USE THE MCDONALDS APP AGAIN! I had to learn how to use the app, so it was a bit confusing my first time. I had an order placed and because there was really no back button to add to the order, I guess it kept resetting my restaurant location. I submitted my order, my daughter walked over (we dont live far from the location I needed to pick up from) but there was no order. The employees there were not helpful at all. So I thought maybe i needed to check in with the app in order for the order to process, so I did. 10 mins later, nothing. So i review and realize it was ordered at the McDonalds at Windward City. I call to see if the manager at Windward City can call the manager at Temple Valley to inform them that i DID pay and if my order can be transferred. well guess what? They said they couldn't do that and they said I needed to call customer support. OK so I did, I was even willing to settle for a gift card for a future use. I never picked up my order and they know that, yet they still allowed me to pay $20 for food I never received. RIP OFF!! I call customer support and the guy tells me the charges are pending but it will not go through, I just have to wait a few days. OK.... a few days later and guess what, the charges cleared and McDonalds took my $20 for food I never picked up. An easy transfer and communication is all it could have took, but instead here I am filing a complaint. I am also going to the BBB to file a formal complaint. The customer support tells me that I have to file a dispute with my bank in which my bank cant even guarantee my money will be returned to me. RIP OFF! RIP OFF! RIP OFF! DONT ever use this app. Oh, and I also am no longer spending my money at ANY McDonalds. This would have NEVER happened...
Read moreMost of the time Koolau valley temple they are very good a little on slow side forget few things but good.. ...but you learn to check things before you drive off.... Today though.. I thought no I'm gonna write something cuz I've worked fast food in my younger yrs from bottom to management so understand how things can vet hectic esp during rush hour .. And seen many incidents where ive literally pulled off a crew member for acting inappropriately...Yes workers deal with many rude customers but you learn to deal with it.. .My friend who is elderly today came back and was a little upset cuz he asked for condiments for big breakfast /s with pancakes ..the short guy with black hair in drive thru said I put it in separate bag..so he looked in and he told him oh you only gave me hash browns in side bags so guy made condiment bag....My friend looked in didn't have enough butter so asked for more ..the worker then grabs two hands cupped of butter and drops it on him making it fall on his lap and on floor of car...he said he didnt even give me time to grab it.... But didn't like whip it in or anything he just dropped it...I said BS he should of put it in a bag..He knew what he was doing.. he got annoyed and did something unacceptable. Reason im upset more is ...My friend had surgery ..if one of those butters hit his foot wound cuz even though it is light ..it has sharp on the edges and something as small like that could of made complications.. You don't drop things like that on people especially elderly. If it's a matter of the worker no can handle people.. He needs to go do the fryers or prep work.... Or if it's more of an accident then use this as a precaution to don't do stuff like this.. I wasn't there so don't know exactly what went down..But regardless he should of put butter in bag... Other than that they've always been pretty...
