Kailua District Swimming Pool — Local services in Oʻahu

The pool was closed this morning with no explanation the website was not working so somebody is not doing their job. But this is Honolulu and no one really seems to care. When the pool is open it's a great place. So I have to give it a two-star instead of a five star since they were too lazy to even put up a sign while they were closed this morning. This pool is open m-f for limited hours during covid. You can come at the top of each hour and swim in a 45 min slot. but I’m super happy I can swim for 45 min in a pool if the ocean is rough. Great district park! My children have had tennis lessons, basketball practice, and swim team practices here for years and we always enjoy riding our bikes to this park. The bathrooms are nicer inside the gymnasium (actually have soap); I highly recommend bringing a fold out chair if you're staying to watch any practices here so you can move to a nice shady spot under one of the many trees...
