Wow, this used to be my favorite Ramen shop in Mililani, how quickly things change. 😢
We walked in on a weekend around 11am, seated ourselves and was quickly given a menu. Things went down hill after that.
The one and only apparently working waitress helped others who came in after us to place their take out orders and cashed out half the restaurant before finally, taking our order, 15 minutes after we were ready.
10 more minutes then the waitress brings us the wrong food, not what we ordered, wrong kind of Ramen and wrong chicken for my son... 10 minutes later, she brings me my Ramen which had ice cold Char Sui (the white fat was clearly visible on the cold meat) and mostly uncooked noodles in a lukewarm broth! Appalling to have lukewarm broth in a Ramen Shop!
After calling loudly to get the waitress' attention since she would not look up, she promised to make my Ramen hot. Finally, another 5 minutes later my order was finally delivered, piping hot.
One piece of the Char Siu in my Ramen tasted a bit unusual but I ignored it and ate it anyway. Three hours later, the only thing I have eaten today is the Ramen from Nagaoya Ramen, and I have a bad case of Diarrhea. 😢 No coincidence I am sure. Too bad as we were regulars there, definitely no...
Read moreThe welcoming friendly demeanor of the cashier(taking my order) was well met. She was courteous & patient. Unfortunately that's all this place has to offer. I've eaten here a couple of times, before Covid, & every time the food was very enjoyable. I suggested this place for lunch to my mom & my brother. So to say I expected the same goes without saying. Except this time, boy was I wrong. My mom ordered Char-su fried rice, NO ONION. My brother ordered Pork fried noodles & Chicken katsu. Me, I ordered Beef curry.
The Char-su fried rice had A LOT of onions. The Pork fried noodles hardly had any noodles but abundant in bean sprouts. It should be called fried Pork & Bean sprouts. The Chicken katsu was salty. The Beef curry, beef stew in one bowl & curry gravy in another. I had to mix the two together 🤨, WTH!?! All the meat(beef) was burnt. Besides the burnt meat there was nothing else but carrots & onions. Talk about DISAPPOINTED! Not to mention the embarrassment for suggesting this place.
Idk if maybe there's a different cook or what. But what I do know for sure is that I won't be eating there again. Nor will I ever suggest, to anyone, to eat at Nagoya Ramen in Mililani...
Read moreWe are ramen connoisseurs and we’re from California so ramen is a big thing where we’re from (besides carneasada tacos), and I have eaten here twice. The first time the ramen noodles were completely stuck together even after putting the flavorless hot water(which is supposed to have a decent flavor to it because that’s the soup part) that they provide on top of the noodles and letting it sit for a few mins. So I tried to pry apart the noodles with chopstick spilling soup everywhere, already pissed off, and then once I’m done I take a bite. I was very upset because the soup is completely flavorless and the way everything was put together is completely careless, however the chicken katsu was great. So I thought to myself maybe I should give this place another chance. A few weeks later I take my husband there with me and we try the beef ramen and it was completely disgusting. No flavor, hardly any beef was in there. Noodles were completely stuck together, even after letting the hot water sit in it. So we just threw everything away. I highly reccomend everyone to try something else unless they upgrade their flavoring and noodles. This place...
