There are just so many things that irritate me about this place. Most of them are common to all Starbucks: eg burnt coffee, plastic lids on everything even if you are staying in, over-filled cups, and that obnoxiously stupid “venti”, “grande” size thing.
But this place has managed to create some irritations all their own. Like the fact that they insist on keeping cream and sugar behind the counter, rather than having it available on the customer side—argh!
And the place has the worst access ever. To get to the patio, you either have to walk around the building and go through the dining room, or crawl through the planters (the most popular option), or sidle down a narrow strip with a table jammed in and someone’s dog always blocking the passage. All this makes dealing with your bike a giant pain, since you either have to put it on the patio or literally leave it lying in a parking slot—grr!
Also, never plan to use the restroom here: there’s only one, and for some reason it always seems to be tied up for hours by some idiot doing their make-up or something—gaaa!
But the place is clean, Starbucks uses less single-use plastic than most fast food joints, and there aren’t a lot of other café options in this part of town, so I’ll give it a...
Read moreThis is our go to Starbucks and has been outstanding in the past! Lately, it has been going downhill and I don’t even want to spend my money to which I’ve probably spent thousands over the years. They can’t even make an iced back tea correctly when I request liquid cane but they use honey blend which makes it taste terrible. If they’re out of something just let me know. There have been various instances with rude kids and not making drinks correctly which we let slide. The icing on the cake is my husband pulled up to the drive-thru window and seen his drink sitting there with something in it. Come to find out it was fly! He watched the kid take the lid off his drink and scoop that part off with the fly and just put some more whipped cream on and put the lid back on. He handed it to my husband and he asked the kid, “was there a fly in there?” The kid knew he was caught and immediately admitted to it. He proceeded to ask my husband if he wanted him to make a new drink. Is that even a question? This wouldn’t have happened if Paul was there! We love Paul! Who knows what else they’ve given to customers but I know we won’t be frequenting this...
Read moreThis Starbucks is so disappointing. The staff is not friendly to people picking up mobile orders in the drive through. They never greet me at the window, just open the window and hand me my order. I went there a few nights ago at 6:50 and wanted a cup of brewed coffee. I was told “you need to order something else because we close in 10 minutes”. I asked why and they repeated the statement. I asked for a pour over then if the brewed coffee was out and they said I can’t get coffee and need to order something else because they close in 10 minutes. I was shocked. So I left. It shouldn’t matter if you close in 10 minutes, you are a coffee place! So upsetting. Their customer service is horrible and...
