Starbucks — Restaurant in Oʻahu

This location needs an audit or new management. I’ve had unpleasant experiences here for years. I always think it’s going to get better. I always want to give people grace and the benefit of the doubt, but the grumpy vibe here brings me down big time. I go to the Aikahi location now, but I popped in here the other day and nothing had changed. I don’t expect anyone to care about my very first world problem but I hope the owner gives some attention to the staff issues.

The service is SO SLOW whether it’s packed or empty. The quality of the coffee is extremely inconsistent. I’ve choked on way-too-strong cold brew and I’ve been given cold brew cups that are under filled by an inch or two. Baristas are filled with silent rage if you ask for a tweak. There are baristas who regularly behave unprofessionally, seem bothered to deal with customers….at the register….are combative with fellow workers and aren’t efficient or helpful.

Through the years, there have been beyond lovely baristas who are kind, great at what they do, and quietly put up with difficult co-workers, and I hope they know who they are

Most of the time it's an amazing experience, but today wasn't at all. I was the only one in line Joy finished her conversation (which wasn't pertaining to work) before even greeting me. I've always gone to this starbucks every Friday morning. And the staff make my morning. I usually order a surprise me they make me a drink at random and every single time. The drink is awesome. 8/ 8 would rate. Most negative reviews are people who don't have the patience to realize the lines are long, your drink isn't going to come out in 5 min or less. And if you want coffee, the probably need to brew a fresh batch, that takes like 10 minutes. My own mother works at a Starbucks location and she said this starbucks is pretty up...
