UPDATE: I did get a phonecall from JJ's and they want to make it right and are sending me a gift card to give them another chance. I'm happy to see that some companies are pulling out of their handsoff post pandemic haze and getting back to their core metrics and focusing on customer service. Changing from 1 * to 3 *. I will change the overall to 4 stars once the card actually arrives. Let's see if the comeback kid can actually come back!
I ordered delivery. The bread was hard on the bottom, the mayo was barely existent, the lettuce was browning and the meat certainly wasn't as much as the picture showed, they forgot the onions and oil and vinegar that I ordered. The second sandwich was just as bad, we had to add our own mayo. I tipped through the app order and the person delivering still stood there looking at me like he expected another tip. The comeback kid is definitely out again! There's no reason to return with expensive prices, cutting sandwich portions and poor sandwich execution by careless employees. I will be posting this review and the accompanying pictures of proof to the stores google map review as well. If you won't save folks some money or atleast deliver on quality and expectation...
Read morePoor customer service. My wife went in and bought $40 worth of sandwiches. She asked the cashier to substitute ham instead of salami on one of these, she noticed a charge rang up for extra ham and asked cashier to take this off as this was a substitution, he agreed and she paid for the order. Upon receiving the order and the receipt, she noticed this charge was still on her bill. She asked this to be removed and the manager rudely said no but I will remake your sandwich - we upcharge for substitutions. He asks for the sandwich back and takes the whole bag from my wife - keep in mind this is during the covid pandemic she already touched the bag which is now on the sandwich board behind the counter. She then had to ask again for her refund while he made her a messy sandwich angrily. Then she had to ask again for her tax money since he was being so stingy she decided to as well. Bad management. Never coming back to this location. Not very thoughtful during a pandemic and not concerned for future business I suppose. So rude. I would never expect anyone in fast food...
Read moreMy husband and I are vegetarians so we are super easy and always get the veggie, it’s a simple sandwich just veggies, cheese and avocado spread we usually ask for extra veggies and oil and vinegar because it’s not the most exciting sandwich. But we got our $15 dollar sandwich today and realized there was little to no avocado spread on it so it was super dry, if there were extra veggies on it you couldn’t tell and we each had to put o our own dressings on it to make it edible. I don’t usually even write reviews but the manager emailed me and said she personally was on the line making it and it had the allotted amount on it.
