Waited far too long for cold raviolis and just okay pizza. The service was horrible the waiteress never offered me a water with my glass of stale wine and never filled the other waters/sodas at our table without being "hunted down" and asked. We asked for a SMALL box for the last 4 squares of pizza and were brought a pizza box, when asked again to be brought a SMALL box and physically pointing to the 4 lonely slices left the waitress brought us a large styrofoam box. In hopes of recovering the evening we ordered a monkey bread to go (it smelled wonderful). I wish we hadn't! We waited another 30 minutes ...no waitress in sight (we could hear them all chit chatting in the kitchen having a joyous time) empty glasses on the table for nothing but uncooked bread! It was so disgusting I literally spit it out in the parking lot and turned the car around to go back inside. I took the bread back inside and asked for a refund. The hostess went and got our waitress who at this point wouldnt make eye contact (I was being very pleasant even with my disgust and frustration) and she mumbled something about not knowing how to help me. I literally had to ask the waitress and hostess to get the manager. The assistant manager came to the counter and it took her almost 10 min to give me back the WRONG amount. She finally gave up with the registered and returned $6.50 to me after I had answered 12 questions about my order and verified that we were charged $6.99 before tax for the monkey bread I was trying to return. Fed up I took the $6.50 and left. We will not be...
Read moreArrived at Monical's O'Fallon today to purchase frozen pizzas. Limit there is five per customer. Have purchased frozen products, under the limit, numerous times in the past. Have dined in numerous times in the past. Today I needed six pizzas. This one time. Six. Cashier, doing her job, advised five was the limit. Manager was asked to allow a purchase of six. Manager Eric Cartman's authority was going to be respected. He would not even approach counter to discuss it. Uttered from the back that five was the limit. I thanked him and placed the six pizzas back in their freezer. Pizza Hut, Domino's, Papa John's, Schnuck's, Dierberg's, 7 Eleven will ALL sell me six pizza's. My money spends anywhere Cartman. Keep your pizzas Cartman. I'm done with Monical's. I'm going to wager a few of those pizzas will still be in the freezer tonight when the doors get locked.
September 15th, 2025 True to my word, I have not returned to the store since the original post. I was told by a reliable source that the sign posting the limit for the frozen pizzas is no longer present at the self serve freezer. In all fairness, I will relent that is a welcome modification of policy to my prior review. I certainly hope ownership had a conversation with management about offering a little flexibility for the set limits if they are...
Read moreDon't think I will ever go back. 20 minutes late on a call in, when we got there they were on the phone with a delivery apologizing for another delay, they didn't have any bread sticks ready so we had to wait. When we came back 20 minutes later we asked if the order was ready, they still didn't have them ready to go but they were done. The lady behind the counter was trying to box them up, she appeared to be struggling with the cheese dispenser and we were a little surprised when she gave us the breadsticks and the cheese because we had ordered marinara sauce. She took everything back and was complaining to a co worker that we had watched her struggling with the dispenser but didn't say anything. Amazing, she never said she was working on our order and why was it our fault that she read the order wrong, and if she couldn't work their dispenser why was that our fault. How rude for her to make it somehow our fault that she was having a hard time. Of course while all of this was happening all of our other food had been sitting there. Hot breadsticks, cold ravioli and pizzas but those breadsticks were hot. This place is woefully understaffed and clearly some of the staff is less than happy about their work. ...
