So I don’t normally leave reviews, but I think this was worth sharing. So me and my son went there this evening 6/30/2022. We’ve been there a handful of times and the service, food, customer service have always been just fine. So tonight I ordered a mushroom burger as I usually do. I asked for mid-rare as I always do, and it’s usually right on the money give or take. Nothing worth sending back. My burger came out this evening pushing mid-well. Like I said, normally I’d eat it if it’s close, but this was pushing it in my opinion. So I got the waitress and asked her for a new burger. I wasn’t rude, just wanted what I ordered. No biggie right? I’ve worked in kitchens, it gets busy, stuff happens. So we were sitting right by the kitchen. I see/hear the waitress talk to her manager. This lovely fella says, “Well, we’re not a steak house. I mean, I guess we’ll do it this time.” I stood up and he saw me and I said, What’s with the comment? Again he said they weren’t a steak house and they just to “no pink” or a “little pink”. I said that I’ve always ordered it that way, and never had a problem. He just kind of walked away. Had quite the standoffish tone/attitude. So I got his attention and told him to cancel my re-fire. Honestly his whole demeanor made us lose our appetite. I don’t need someone to “tell” me how it’s done or how I was supposed to order my meal. I’ve worked everywhere from Steak ‘n Shake to corporate, to fine dining. It shouldn’t have even been a problem. We got boxes and got out. The waitress did discount my bill, and was even embarrassed with her manager..Might want to train your “managers” on how to speak to other adults, and paying...
Read moreThis was a very disappointing meal! We took our granddaughter and her date to eat before their homecoming dance. They both had chicken strips and said they were ok. My wife ordered their French onion soup and I ordered a salmon steak lettuce wrap with sweet potato fries. The soup was terrible! It tasted like the cook dumped an entire salt shaker into it. I'm sure this was prepared from a mix as you could also detect cardboard. My meal was not quite warm, salmon was dry with an overly salty crust and the sweet potato fries were shriveled mushy and cool. The "lettuce wrap" consisted of 2 pieces of iceberg, a couple of mushy jalapeno rings and a couple of limp strings of white onion. We had the waitress remove the soup and wife was a bit nauseated from the soup so she refused another entree. I picked on mine but didn't eat much. The manager only deducted the soup but 2 chicken strip played and the salmon thing came to over $60!! All I can conclude is that what Red Robin shows in their commercials and what they put on the table are miles apart. There are many other chains like O'Charlie's, Applebee's, etc where you'll get superior food at a more...
Read moreWent to this location due to my regular being closed. All I can say is, I won't be going back. The hostess dumped the silverware, touched the fork by the prongs to put it back in, when she couldn't she threw it in the basket but didnt grab a new one. I had just a knife. She also didn't grab a children's menu but she grabbed crayons. I specifically told her not to give my child a balloon and she's grabbed one anyway, which upset my daughter since we are teaching her to wait until after dinner for toys and things. My daughter's chicken was so overcooked that it was hard and burnt on the ends. Luckily that was taken off the bill. She refused to eat it. By the time I could get my servers attention, we had finished eating. My daughter had to wait until we got home. I was also unable to ask for a refill on my fries. On the way out the hostess and a large group of employees were up at the front gossiping and being loud. The restaurant was full of customers, I'm sure there were other things to do. I'd be more understanding if they were short staffed but they were...
