We have been coming here for the last 8 years. In that time, we have noticed that the sandwiches range from great quality to almost absolute garbage. You can never predict when you will get a good or a bad sandwich. It is all completely illogical. Come during peak lunch or dinner hours, you will get stale bread. Come at off-peak hours, you will get fresh bread. On top of that, if you order through the drive-thru, good luck getting anything you ordered! One night, I drove thru, and the clerk actually said, "Welcome to Chick-Fil-A, can I take your order?" This is how brain dead their employees are. Mamy times we have ordeed chips with our sandwiches, and they have not included them in our take-out bags. RIP OFF! We have duscovered that mistake a few times beforw we got home, and had to turn around and go back. Last night we went through the drive-thru and my husband ordered a sandwich for my daughter, a Pepe without mayonaisse. The clerk repeated it back. When we got the sandwich home, my daughter discovered it was literally bathing in mayonaisse. Disgusting! One of their brain-dead employees made it exactly opposite of the way we ordered it. Unfortunately, we live 20 miles east, in a town where the O'Fallon store is the most convenient, so we could not easily return the sandwich. We are just out the money. DONE! You idiots have screwed up WAY too many times! Anybody's grandma, dad, aunt, or friend can make a better sandwich with ingredients from the grocery store!!!!! Also, someone is going to choke to death on the rind those dopes leave...
Read moreThis Jimmy John’s location consistently disappoints me. I’ve waited over 40 mins in their drive thru line and received sandwiches that weren’t made according to order. After waiting in that line I decided next time I’ll just go inside. I’ve tried that on 3 separate occasions now and they always have a sign on the door that reads “we are unable to serve you in-store at this time” —so it’s drive thru only. Today myself and many other customers tried to order inside and they refused us, nobody wanted to wait in the drive thru line for 40 mins so we all just went elsewhere. I went literally across the street to Jersey Mike’s and they had double the amount of employees who were rapidly serving a line out the door. As a former Jimmy John’s shift manager when I was in college many years ago, I know the core principles of a successful JJ franchise. Fast service and excellent customer service. You can blame pandemic-related labor shortage all day but how is your competitor across the street able to provide the service I expect from JJ? I have the answer for you— it’s incompetent management and ownership unwilling to pay an adequate labor force. Your slogan is “subs so fast you’ll freak” which JJ used to pride itself on—well that is definitely not the case at this location. Your business is literally turning away customers because of...
Read moreThis location has a consistent pattern of not making sandwiches to order correctly. I’ve tried privately contacting the store management to correct it before leaving a negative public review, but it just keeps happening - sandwiches not cut into pieces, requested toppings not included, items from my order missing in the bag (how hard is it to put two items in a bag?)
Every time I go, I swear to myself I should stop giving them business. Then a couple weeks goes by and I somehow forget. And they don’t make my food as ordered, repeat cycle. Just going to have to stop giving them money.
So here we are. Don’t expect this location to make your sandwich to order correctly, and make sure to check your bag for all the items in your order.
Edit: No, Jimmy John’s, I am not going to spend more of my time giving you feedback. It’s been given multiple times and hasn’t improved. At some point, it becomes your responsibility to fix the problem.
Edit: Once again, tried to give them a chance. Once again, order was NOT CORRECT. Just avoid...
