I hate giving out one stars but when it's deserved, it's deserved. I've been waiting until this placed slowed down a little to try it. After waiting for a month or so I was pleased to hear the wait was only 25 minutes for 2 on a Saturday night! That was the highlight of the night. We get seated, the staff seamed very disorganized. The server comes to get our order, we ordered water, tea, and an app to start. The appetizer came out before our drinks, weird, but no complaints to how fast it came out. We got a blooming Onion, the sause was very horseraddishy and in my opinion unpleasant. The water and tea finally show up after about 10 minutes, the food runner showed up with a mystery 3rd drink very confused that it wasnt ours he seamed extremelyfrustrated. Then we got free bread, but the food runner along with multiple diffrent staff was consistently confusing our table and the one next to us. So we got double bread and the table next to us got none, this was a constant theme throughout the meal, food runners and servers alike mixing us up. We both ordered fliets meals. My sides came out first (soup and salad) the salad (ceaser) had the same horseradish taste that I find unpleasant and it was over peppered. Stange to have a "spicy" salad. The soup (loaded potato) was just eh. This entire time the server had a very hard time remeber to refill my boyfriends tea. Then finally come the steaks. They were placed at the table next to us, and nearly served to them. We spoke up and the food runner said sorry handed us our food and walked off. Steaks were done right, but the seasoning was as if they rolled the entire filet in pepper?! I don't mind pepper, but It was so strong I coughed on my first bite because it hit the back of my throat so hard. My boyfriends was the same. I ended up cutting off the top and bottem that were overly peppered and so I was left with a almost bland center cut that had a tendon in it. Just completely unpleasant. If your steaks are concerned pepper steaks, it should say it on the menu. Finally the sever comes over to drop the check ($90) and we ask for a to go cup for the tea. The sever said of course, then never got it. We sat there and watched her talk with her coworkers then check on all her tables go to the back come back, and continued to pow-wow with her co workers. I got up after waiting 15 minutes and asked the bar for the Togo cup. The bartender took about 5 minutes to go get the cup. Stopped on the way back joined in on the pow-wow, then after another minute gave me the cup, I said thank you. There was no "you're welcome." This was the single most disappointing meal I've had in a very long time. In my STONG opinion, you shouldnt bother, and just drive .5 miles down the road to Texas road house, get the same meal for 60$ and its delicious, not to mention the staff is always very sweet and attentive. I've never had any issues there. Step...
Read moreI hate my service and food was so horrible! The only highlight was that the wife did our seating on the app so we didn’t have to wait to be seated. Where do I start silverware had a hair wrapped in it. Didn’t get any saucers for the bread had to ask someone else who brought my salad for them. Bread comes out so cold we put butter on it and it just sat there no melting at all. I order Alice spring Chicken with steak medium and loaded bake potatoe no sour cream. Wife orders the pasta with shrimp and chicken. Food comes out cold and the steak is raw and the potatoe had only sour cream. We get the waiter tell him he says sorry I will have them recook it for you and fix your potato. Wife asked for extra sauce it come out cold she tells him and was like for real I watched them microwave it sir how the container metal?! He tells my the manger is bring me my food!! Manager comes out with steak and chicken and ask what was your side? OMG are you serious. I say loaded baked potato no sour cream he walk off. Come back pipping hot potato I think I’m in business . Cut the steak it is now well done and cold and the chicken cold. Ask for the manager he comes I tell him he say it’s got to be hot it burnt my hand I ask how the cheese not even melted on the chicken he says oh we just remade the steak because it was under cooked that is the same piece of chicken. Wife also say and this pasta before she could even finish he say I already know it’s bland it’s our most sent back dish. Oh and back to the waiter no water refills until the night was already a disaster and I said something to the manager even though his table of 10 plus had multiple refills while we just trying to get our food right. The manager canceled the bill said sorry and gave us a card for a free blooming onion only to be used at one location. Man I was so pissed wish I would of...
Read moreEntirely disappointed in this Outback. We were told “about a 30 minute wait” so we decided to wait. 50 minutes later when I asked for an update on where we stood in line I was told we had 3 minutes left on our original wait time and there were 6 parties still ahead of us. We should have left then but it has been a while since we have been able to have Outback so we waited a little longer. Once we were finally seated, it took about 10 minutes to get a waitress to take our drink order, then she came back 5 minutes later to drop off the bread and re-enter the drink order. By then we were ready to order the main course which we did and drinks arrived along with getting another bread loaf. Almost 30 minutes later when asked how we are doing, I noted that we were just waiting to get our food. Within a few minutes the food was delivered, some hot and some cold, and my steak (ordered well done) came out medium to medium-rare. I know better than to send food back especially after waiting so long in the first place so I ate what I could. I requested the check when our food arrived because I noticed a table of 3 nearby had been pacing for about 10 minutes waiting for their check so they could leave. When my check arrived, the tip amounts are 18%, 20%, 22%, and Other. It is ridiculous for a restaurant to “suggest” such tip percentages with an experience as terrible as what we experienced. I did not ask for a manager. I do not want to talk to a manager. I do not need to be contacted for resolution by customer service, owner, or corporate. Other Outback’s are likely still operated just fine but this one needs a lot of work. I feel these reviews are more geared towards letting the public know of past experiences so they can have informed dining decisions. There is no changing my decision to not eat at this Outback...
