I have been here a handful of times and service has been great until 8/9 evening. Not sure how training is done when it comes to your servers but please have them at least recognized the menu before leaving them on their own. When asked what fountain drinks were available, she said “let me go check”. Just make something up and if you don’t have it say unfortunately we’re out. Next part, usually bread is served before apps / soup or salad if it comes with an entrée. Somebody in our party got a soup, she drops off the soup. Then a few minutes later she asked if we wanted bread. If bread is already complementary, why are you asking if we want it? Just drop it off with the drinks or before.
Then the food comes, she drops everything off and leaves. The next time she comes to the table is when we asked for boxes and the check. At no point between dropping off the food and when asked for the check did she come ask how everything was or how was the food. She was doing side work and I completely understand when you wanna get the hell outta work already. However, going up to your table(s) after the first few minutes is crucial just to see if everything is alright or to catch any errors. You have a small window when it comes to the service industry to fix things right away.
In no way, shape or form am I trying to nitpicked this server. She was very sweet and professional. However, since the beginning I knew she has never served/ was new. This is an @ to management to at least train the servers on the basics of serving 101. If you want your net sales to increase, making sure your servers are...
Read moreThe food was terrific, we really enjoyed it. However, our order was taken for a kid's spaghetti and a medium pizza. After maybe 15 minutes or so, the waitress brings out the kid's spaghetti, but put another pasta dish on the table. We told her we didn't order that, we ordered a pizza, and she apologized taking the dish away. She then goes to the back and returns to give the dish to the table next to us. She then comes back to us and tells us that she brought the kid's spaghetti out because she didn't want our daughter to wait, but yet she clearly brought it with what she thought was our order. She then says it'll be about 5 more minutes on our pizza. After 10 minutes, the manager comes out with her apologizing and saying they have two kitchens and there was a mix-up. Says it'll be 10-12 more minutes for our pizza and "I'll adjust your bill for this." After 15 minutes, we finally got our pizza which, again, was very good. However, the waitress says she's going to give us free desserts and we told her we were full, we didn't want desserts. She brings the check out and there's no reduction in price at all! I asked about the reduction that the manager referred to and she says she'll have to check with him. She later returned taking $4 off the bill. Clearly, they were wanting to move some desserts they already had prepared and wanted to be done with us. Giving a $4 credit is FAR BELOW what should have been done and is not acceptable. While you may go here and get a good meal, there are too many other places to go to in order to get a good meal and good service. We...
Read moreMy experience here was having a. ..n after funeral lunch and not as a regular customer. It was more of a banquet style lunch, and I did not want to take pictures of the food amongst family and friends.
This was a multi course lunch starting with calamari, which was lightly battered and fried just right. They then had pizza split with cheese and sausage, pasta, salad, and chicken with potatoes, which resembled a Chicken Piccata. They even made a special item for us which was requested by the family because the family member would go to this restaurant for the item. Dessert was a sampling of cannoli and tiramisu.
The room was comfortable and decorated with photos of Italian celebrities. The staff was on point and worked efficiently to get the dishes out and made sure everyone had what they needed to be satisfied.
My background is 100% Italian, and I rarely, if ever, go to an Italian restaurant. I prefer making it all at home. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and taste of all of the food.
I'm over an hour away from the location, so I would not visit again, but if you are looking for a place to go after an event, then this would be a good spot.
My photos are limited because of the reason...
