Yet again a very poor experience at the Oakdale KFC. Drive through only. Placed my order and paid then told to wait in the parking lot. After 15 minutes I rang the bell at the door, when it was finally answered I told the young lady according to my receipt they had my order wrong. I hoped to avoid another delay. She said no problem they had made the right order on the computer inside the store. She said my order would be ready soon they were waiting for the original recipe. After another 15 minutes another young lady, after checking with all the other cars waiting asked me if she had my order. I told her what I had ordered and it was not what she had. She then called someone in the store and returned telling me they didn’t have what I had ordered but she had something entirely different and would that be OK. By that time I was through, I went the door and rang the bell and told the young lady that perhaps the best solution would be to refund my money. Seems there is always something wrong at this store. Read moreI don’t usually write reviews, but this experience at KFC was so terrible I felt I had to warn others. This was, without exaggeration, one of the worst fast food experiences I’ve ever had.
I waited over 30 minutes for a basic $13 order. When I politely asked how much longer it would take, the cashier, Jameson, gave me an attitude and was rude and dismissive. No apology. No update. Just a snarky tone like I was bothering them by even asking. Absolutely unprofessional.
If I’m paying for food, I at least expect basic respect and communication. Instead, I was ignored, spoken to with attitude, and left feeling like they couldn’t care less about the customer experience.
This location clearly lacks leadership, training, and basic decency. I will never return, and I strongly recommend others avoid this place entirely unless you enjoy being treated like garbage after a long wait.

I usually buy chicken pot pies and 3 times last year ( a little too often to be a mistake) I got a pot pie that seemed like it was the last pie to fill and it got very little gravy fill, a few vegetables and 1 small piece of chicken, the pie was nearly dried up inside because there was so little filling it baked down. I called and told them the second time & they only apologised. The last time was Christmas week 12/23/24. I had grabbed my food from the drive thru & left for the grandkids in Merced, 3 hours later, I found no spork or napkin to eat with. I heated the pie to warm for a minute in the microwave & opening the crust found I had more crust than filling. I haven't returned to the Oakdale store, I'll drive the 4.5 miles to Riverbank if I want KFC...
