Tiki Hawaii BBQ — Restaurant in Oakdale

My husband and I went there this afternoon and tried to use debit card the machine froze and we were told we had to pay in cash, so my husband did. Came home to eat our lunch which was good and later we look at our account and the transaction is pending in our account. We went back into the place of business and brought it to their attention, the lady cashier was very rude and stated that it’s a pending charge and isn’t going to go through arguing with my husband about it and refusing to make the charges right. The cook comes out from the back and is walking to the counter turning his baseball hat around like he’s gonna do something. Poor service and will not go back.

So my advice to everyone pay in cash and not your debit card. A 30.00 lunch ended up...

I ordered the grilled chicken plate. It CLEARLY said it comes with Lemon wedges OR teriyaki sauce so I told the cashier lemon wedges he then proceeded to ask me if I wanted extra which I said yes. When I get my meal there's no lemon wedges but they gave me teriyaki sauce I tell them that I didn't want teriyaki and that I wanted lemon wedges which the owner came and then proceeded to tell me that "it's in the flavor" ? They need to clarify what they're selling on there menu so people aren't paying for something they didn't want because it CLEARLY said Lemon wedges OR teriyaki sauce. The food was pretty bland btw...

10/10 recommend!! The food is the best Hawaiian bbq in the 209! The meat is always so tender and flavorful and the rice very moist and not dry. I personally do not like Mac salad in general, but my wife says it is delicious 😋. On top of the food being incredible, the customer service is always spectacular! Very friendly, efficient and they always make sure the food is hot and ready! Whenever you’re in the mood for some Hawaiian BBQ, you’ve gotta check out this little hole in the wall in Oakdale!
