I don’t usually take the time to fill out surveys, or write reviews, but this warranted one.
We have a Subway location near our house, and at one point, I purchased a sub every single morning on my way to work. Eventually, I believe it went under new management, and I stopped going.
We went on Sunday (2/25/24) for the first time in a while, just to grab 2 subs for lunch, and to hopefully try the new pretzels.
When we walked in the restaurant, there was absolutely no one in there, except for the one worker who was sitting in the back on her phone (you could see her through the doorway that goes to the back behind the counter). She looked up as we walked in the front door, but by the time we made it to the counter, she was then just walking out. She did not say anything to us, so I said something along the lines of “Hi how are you?”, only to get no answer, so we eventually just started ordering.
Her attitude was extremely rude, almost as if we were interrupting her “phone time” or something.
We then tried to order one of the pretzels that are being promoted all over the place, and with even more attitude, we were told “we will not have any till Wednesday”. My first thought was to try one of the churros instead, but based off her attitude, I did not even ask if they had those.
When my partner ordered his food, her attitude was just as bad.
When it got to the veggie part, the lettuce was definitely not green, the spinach was all wilted, and everything else looks like it had been sitting in the bins for a day or so, at least.
To top off the entire experience, our biggest shock came when we got to the register to pay…
I am fully aware of inflation, and how things have definitely got more expensive over the past few years, but we ordered (1) 12” Flatbread (Turkey & Bacon), and (1) 12” Chicken Bacon Ranch Sub, made both a combo, and spent $35.06.
For that price, and the attitude we received, I will definitely be taking my business elsewhere. That is absolutely ridiculous for “fast food”, for 2 people. We have local sitdown restaurants that would have been cheaper to go to, and offer better food, and MUCH better service.
It is sad to say, the best part of the meal was the bag of chips, and even those had an expiration date 3 days BEFORE this visit…I didn’t even notice that until we got back home and started eating, and truthfully, I wouldn’t think to check that at the restaurant.
This location has really gone downhill, and you can tell the owners don’t care about it. I would suggest trying somewhere else, especially where you can get your moneys worth, you definitely will not get that at...
Read moreThis exact situation happened to me not even half an hour before this but with a different restaurant chain. This location is said to close at 10pm on both Google and the Subway app. I ordered at around 9:15/20pm and app said it would be ready for pickup by 9:35pm. When I got there it was closed. Most apps tell you you can't order when place is closed or let you order for a later time. I thought Subway was like that too. It still let me order and said place was open. I still got charged for it. Went back the next day (today) at around 1:00pm with my brother (also happened to him at the same time) and got yelled at by Emily (manager). Did not get a refund...
Read moreMy girlfriend and I ordered two sandwiches online. I ordered a chicken teriyaki 12" on wheat, toasted with lettuce, pickles, extra banana peppers, and sweet onion dressing. They gave me chicken on wheat toasted with lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, green peppers, black olives and chipotle ranch dressing. Not even close to what I wanted. I understand things get mistaken when it's busy but the order was not even close to what I ordered. My girlfriends sandwich also didn't have any cheese that she ordered on hers. Both sandwiches were fine tasting. It's just that the finished product was far from correct. I would recommend coming in and ordering...
