1 Seafood & Chicken — Restaurant in Oakland

This is a takeout place, usually with a lot of people waiting for their food. I’ve never had any issues with my food. I order the fried oysters all the time, and the breading is always crisp/not too oily, and I love how you can choose either fries or fried rice as a side. They give you bread with your order, too.

The service is great! For those who do not like the service, go to a sit-down restaurant. I don’t think they realize that if they want someone to be at their beck and call, don’t go to a counter takeout place!

The reason I gave 2✨ for atmosphere is bc some of the customers waiting for their food are far below average in their social behavior/etiquette No respect for the proprietor, nor other customers.

I will come here for fried oysters as long as I live within 2 miles of...

Whenever i have a hankering for fried fish or chicken wings, i go to our favorite neighborhood spot...HERE. Both the chicken and fish are seasoned to perfection. They make it a point to not use the same oil to fry the chicken or fish in, unlike many other places. So if you want a quick, tasty and reasonable meal, i suggest you try 1 Seafood & Chicken. You may find it useful to pick up a menu so you can call in your order first, if you just plan to pick future orders up, as this is more of a takeout place, although they have a table or two for those that choose to eat in. Alsom their side order of potato salad or fried rice...

I love the chicken its perfect. Ive got my entire job asking where'd that chicken come from. One of my co workers said he went and found it one day headed for a training class he was so determined to eat a piece a chicken that once he started he couldn't stop almost wrecked trying to drive and eat. He said he had all intentions on going into this training with a little treat ( the chicken) lol but by the time he arrived the whole 20 piece was gone........
