Aman Cafe is a cool place to go when you want a modern yet international breakfast or lunch in a hip location. First of all they are a first class coffee shop serving an excellent brew, but they also serve Indian style Roti served American style with savory or sweet toppings, much as you might enjoy a crepe in an upscale American / French breakfast joint.
They also serve a delicious garlic noodle lunch, with your choice of chicken, tofu or shrimp. The noodles are delicious with just the perfect texture. You can accompany this with a Mango Lassi or from a choice of other smoothie type drinks.

Read more5 stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Aman Cafe is a true gem in Oakland. The space is welcoming and calm, with a vibe that feels like you’re stepping into someone’s home—intentional, warm, and full of care. You can tell everything here is made with heart.
The food is incredibly fresh and flavorful—simple in the best way, and deeply nourishing. Their coffee and tea offerings are also on point, especially if you’re looking for something outside of the usual café options. And the staff? So kind and present. It’s clear this place is community-rooted and values connection as much as good food.
Whether you’re grabbing a quick bite or settling in to relax for a bit, Aman Cafe holds space for both. Highly recommend supporting this...
