12/17/2022: This was our first visit. The establishment was not very warm and welcoming. It was a minimalistic atmosphere with stools and wood counter-like seating. The menu was on a chalkboard that was posted high above the register. There were about 4-5 different burgers, fries, onion rings, milkshakes, and fountain drinks.
After ordering, we went to grab our drinks from the beverage station. The ice machine wasn't working, so I mentioned it to an employee. He told me to press hard on the lever, so I go back and follow his directions, and it still doesn't work. He takes it apart and tells me to put my cup at the base of the chute as he coaxed out the ice cubes. He did the same for my husband, then put the machine cover back on. Another customer goes to use it a few minutes later and complains of the same problem. I go back for a refill, and the ice dispenser is still not working properly. Why didn't he either fix it or put up a sign that says it's out of order? Further, why didn't he notify customers as they ordered that the ice isn't working properly? What happened to customer service?
We got our burgers and fries, and they looked great. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger and received it without the bacon. I went up to show them I didn't get my bacon and was told that I didn't order it that way. I know what I want when I order my meals, so it wasn't my error, but the cashier's. The employee hesitated, so I knew he wasn't going to do anything about it. So, I just walked away and ate my burger. It was tasty, but I would've preferred the bacon cheeseburger. Hubby loved his mushroom burger, a grilled patty topped with a panko- coated, fried Portobello mushroom. We each had a nice serving of fries that were crunchy on the outside and creamy on the inside. Everything is served a la carte; no combo meals here.
Final note, there were ants crawling on the counters where we sat to eat.
The food was good. However, for me, this is a...
Read moreHeard about this place about a year ago and finally had the chance to try and see if it matched up to its hype.
Order the two cheeseburgers, two fries, and a shake which came out to $27 dollars. . . hope it's worth it. My friend and I didn't wait long till our order came up (self-service by the way, order and pick-up at counter) . . . it wasn't the burger which stole my sight. . . it was the fries!!! ^O^ Oh my goodness, these fries were like the Fabio of fries; firm, golden, and looking delicious. They tasted as good as they looked; I swear I shivered it was so good.
The burger, which was cooked medium, was pretty good and probably would have tasted better if it wasn't smeared with mayo. It was a huge turn off; while eating it I felt disgusted with myself. Disgusted when I saw all the mayo oozing out of my burger. . . TOO MUCH!! I finished my burger nonetheless because it was $7, not letting $7 go in the trash.
I didn't finish my fries which made me sad because that was worth it and the main reason this place gets 4 stars instead of 3. I recommend going easy on the mayo or have no mayo at all in the burger, take it in its natural form with cheese. Haven't tried the shake, so I guess I would have to check back in there soon.

Read moreMy co-worker mentioned that this place had a fried Portobello stuffed with cheese burger and I knew I had to come check it out. I got the true deluxe which is their cheeseburger topped with a crispy Portobello mushroom stuffed with smoked mozzarella cheese. The verdict? Delicious. They fry the mushroom perfectly and the burger part was cooked and seasoned well too. We also got the garlic fries which were good and upon my co-worker’s recommendation, a vanilla milkshake with peanut butter and oreos, which was AMAZING. The consistency of the milkshake is really good and the add ins were so worth it and doesn’t make it too sweet either.
Overall, give me a fried, cheesy burger with a delicious milkshake and I will definitely be satisfied. This place also reminds me or Shake Shack for those...
