AU Lounge — Restaurant in Oakland

I was so excited to try this restaurant out because the food look good on Internet and I heard it was really popular and it look like they get a lot of business. I had ordered the garlic noodles and shrimp prawns The garlic noodles threw me off because I’ve never seen garlic noodles that are yellow color before so it tasted a little different than what I’m used to. there were other things that I ordered and it was really good but unfortunately when I went home that night I started to feel sick and end up throwing up so bad it was crazy and right thier i knew i got food poisoning from eating from this restaurant They give you a lot of food it is worth your money But something wasn’t clean when I ate and honestly when you’re dealing with seafood you have to make sure you clean it really good so I was looking forward to coming back but after I got sick I don’t wanna take that chance. I suggest not ordering the garlic noodles try something else But the other food on the menu looked...

Based on my 2 separate visits. I feel I can give an unbiased opinion. Both times we were treated unwelcomed! The hostess when I went for dinner w/ my family was rude, condescending, and lacked enthusiasm nfor her job. She consistently rolled her eyes and was completely uncoropritive! We were a rather larger group so I apologized in hopes that wed get better service by admitted some sort of fault. All this because someone in my party stated we had reservations! We ended up paying over $800+ this particular night. Another incident where I visited after restaurant hrs resulted in a hostile situation where I was nearly physically removed by a person whom I still can't confirm weather he was an employee or not. This tall guy was full of micro aggression! He came up to me rude so I was just as rude in return. I won't be back. The 3rd star was simply for the food which was sub-par and the owner I think he was because...

...This isn't AU anymore, is it? At ay rate. I was at the restaurant at this location last week. It was an early week nite dinner and the place was jumpin'. Such a fun atmosphere. The waitress was super sweet and pleasant. Got my order taken after about 10 minutes too long of a wait (15+ minutes in all?). And then things went south. It was more than 45 minutes after that when my dinner came. Another lady who came in right after me was still waiting for her dinner 20 minutes later when I left. She had to leave without her food because she couldn't wait any longer. The catfish was good enough, serving size meh. They DO have a decent non-alcoholic beer, for which I am very grateful. I'll try it again...
