I went there this morning(11.12.21) I called and asked for a egg and cheese burrito 🌯 they told me i have to come in the store so i went in before that I confirmed on the phone they if they still gonna have breakfast. Guy who answer my phone said yes. When i went in the store it was almost 10:55 according to time on there order screen. I wait almost 5 min. I reached to counter and order burrito, girl who was taking orders (no name tag) rudely said no more breakfast its 11. I told her i call and ask for it and guy told me to come in 15 min and i am here. She refused to give me burrito. But i asked the cook bcoz breakfast was still there so i got it. But even after that cashier was so rude. She told me rudely come before 11am next time. I know that, that’s why I called and come. I do have name of that employee on the itemized receipt. But I don’t wanna take any name. Thanks to the cook she made my burrito so good. But that cashier girl was so rude even when i was saying her i called in the store and asked for it n i am here before 11. What if it took 11:02am untill i went to register while waiting in line to order. Thanks to the cook but dear cashier don’t be rude when customer is right. Thank you for this...
Read moreI went in, and the place was completely dead. I was the only one inside. The gentleman working the cashier was very friendly and gave me suggestions as I hadn't been to Carl's Jr. for quite some time. I ended up getting the famous start(single)with added bacon, which they charged me about $1.40 for what he said would be 2 strips of bacon. I thought that was pricey but was really craving some bacon. I got the combo(small), which came out to be $14. As soon as he put the order within A minute my burger was ready. I thought that's strange being that I literally JUST put in my order. And it states charbroiled. Don't they have to put it in the broiler to cook and that takes time? Is that not how it works? But oddly enough, I did in fact had to wait for my fries lol. I came home and found out that my burger had NO bacon. The taste surprisingly wasn't bad, but it didn't taste fresh. Which i figured since they had it ready already. The fries were actually tasty. Just the right amount of salt and taste fresh. Not too fried or too soggy. I give 3 stars due to customer service and fries. As far as burgers that was a big disappointment. It is a fast food place so I can't really expect too...

I ordered the most basic burger small combination, the Famous Star--$10.39 incl. tax. Other items are well up into double digits. I don't think all Carl's Jr. locations are so high, though the chain has much less in the way of a "value menu" than competitors. Takeout only. The dining room remains closed--cordoned off with decorative police tape--for reasons known only to management. The bathrooms are barricaded. No drive-through. A sign reminding everyone of the rules, like no more than 10 minutes in the (closed) bathroom, no parking except when patronizing. This is a great neighborhood to meet tweakers or worse. The famous MacArthur Blvd. row of by-the-week motels is right around the corner.
The food is the usual Carl's Jr. fare, so you can form your own opinion. I will say that the fries are among the best in the business--but they won't taste as good cold when you have to take them home before eating.
The owners are plainly just biding their time until they can tear the place down for another new condo tower for the millionaires that inexplicably line up to move into these sketchy neighborhoods. That's...
