Catering Café 15 + Retail — Restaurant in Oakland

This is a purely subjective review:

Hello, our name is Amit, and we are very picky eaters. Now that we have that out of the way let’s talk about café fifteen.

Initially, this was a test run for us to see if it would be possible to get restaurant quality food as delivery and yet have it maintain its dine-in experience taste and experience.

The food here is very much on the health-conscious side. If we were to say… hmm… be “chasing the carrot,”; you know what we’re talking about, haha, the gym life; we would use them for all our meal preparation needs.

Since we are not chasing the carrot 😊, flavor is critical to us. Some menu items are just too bland.

That being said, there are menu items that are just amazing. As we have already established, we are very picky eaters; for us to make such a powerful statement shows the detail and care that goes into every meal that comes out of café fifteen. We are massive fans of their burgers.

Every one of them is handcrafted, laid out layer by layer, and seasoned so delicately, making sure not to overdo it; the balance in favor is just there; it hits all restaurant vibes, not just any restaurant; we are talking some of our tops ones. Okay, so we are not talking about the dining part of the experience; you know that, go put on a VR headset and then eat the meal, haha. These burgers are not meant to be just “thrown in the microwave”; to get the whole “experience” of the flavors, you must prepare them individually to ensure the correct temp is hit. So yes, there is some conditioning time, but don’t start shaking your heads… we know we also hate preparation.

But take it from us; it’s not that bad of a task. Then again, you can throw it in, and we’re sure 90% of you will LOVE it 😊; not saying you all aren’t as picky as us, haha.

What we love about café fifteen is that they listen to all customer feedback on food items. Yes, they LISTEN. So let them know if you want to be heard and feel something would taste better with “insert your subjective taste statement here” 😊

Just walked out empty handed. The place was referred by a colleague. When I entered, there was one person at the counter placing her order and I should have been next. Unfortunately for me, what appeared to be a regular customer came in behind me. Instead of taking my order after the woman in front of me was done, the young lady working the register looked past me, not acknowledging me at all and asked the woman behind me what she'd like to order. I felt completely disrespected! I took my money a few doors down, received great service and a delicious breakfast sandwich.
