El Asadero Poblano — Restaurant in Oakland

Food is ok, not the best but a couple of their menu items are ok. My issue is with the current set-up for ordering/getting your food is very slow and extremely inefficient- first make 1 long line to order/pay for food followed by a second long line where u end up handing receipt to somebody, THEN they start working on your order. If you are here with multiple people, each person can get in a line to speed up the process as I saw many people do, but not possible with only one person. During my visit the cashier also attempted to keep my change, a couple bucks, when I called her on it she mentioned it wasn't much and didn't want to fight over it before reluctantly giving me my change, seems to me this may be a common practice performed that many people may just not realize occured. Ultimately in this area there is other options that are much better...

I drove 40 minutes to get to this location which was hard to find with little to no signage. The Location has Absolutely no parking. But my really only true complaint is no information on forms of payment. I ordered my food, hoping to try 3 different styles of tacos and a drink, the bill came to $20. Super expensive for only 3 tacos and a drink but nonetheless. I went to pay with my debit card only to find out they only take cash /cash apps. I decided to come here because I saw on instagram that this was the best burrito in the town, and I love me a burrito! Lol in all honesty maybe I’m giving it a 3 because I sent myself for failure with that instagram post, and don’t get me wrong the burrito wasn’t nasty, it just wasn’t the best. I ended up getting the super burrito with carne asada and 2 Agua Fresca piña.
