Never again!
The staff are hardworking humble people, theyâre fine.
The portion sizes arenât the worst, thatâs fine.
The meat was tender and not chewy, thatâs good.
But none of this matters when you end up paying $17 for the most uninspiring, tasteless, excessively oily plate of teriyaki chicken on white rice youâve ever had.
Never again.
This place is a classic âbusinessâ and not a âfoodâ place.
Theyâre clever at setting up shop and putting together just enough of an effort to make it sound like youâre getting âtasty foodâ when it is instead just a bunch of inharmonious ingredients put together formulaically.
Of course not every place in the world can be expected to produce a gourmet experience but this isnât even about that, even from a fastfood point of view thereâs simply nothing special here that would want to make me ever come back let alone pay the prices they are asking!

Called them several times for an explanation, no one picked up. A bit unprofessional. Finally decided to go in person to ask what was taking so long. Turns out order was ready 20 minutes ago.
Rice plate: 4/5 stars Salmon and unagi were cooked perfectly- crispy, flavorful, yet tender. However, spicy tofu was very dry. was $15.95, which is very pricey compared to the portion
Rice triangles: 4/5 love the different options that they have, such as salmon, crab, and ume however, a bit pricey ($4-$5) and tinier than expected

Oori exceeded all my happy food requirements and then took me for a ride through food blissfulness with each bite. I had chicken teriyaki, grilled salmon, and spicy tuna triangles. On the side, I complimented it with miso soup and ginger. Each flavor was distinct and made my taste buds ooh, ahh, and wow for more. I'll be back here for more without question.
