HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I have never experienced such incredible service in my life. Ed, Julie, and the studio team are truly amazing. My sister and I are moving across the country and wanted to buy two twin size shikibutons; however, we had only two weeks until we had to ship our car, in which we were going to put the futons.

Since the moment we entered the store, we felt very comfortable. We explained our situation to Ed and he gave us multiple options to consider (and helped us evaluate them as well). He patiently answered our newbie questions and was very transparent and communicative about the timeline and pricing.

Because of their incredible service and quality of goods, we ended up buying 2 futons, 2 tatami mats, 2 buckwheat pillows, a mahogany floor chair and a zabuton. Not only did they customize the stuff in the way we wanted it (they went above and beyond in the designs), but they also made everything very quickly.

Such sweet people work here! They answer all of my questions and even let me open a sealed box so I could confirm that I was getting two bookshelves that were the same color. After I had made my purchases, the man working there helped me load my car, and they gave my boyfriend a lightbulb to go in the lamp he bought from them.

I purchased a bed frame called a Punee in golden oak earlier this year. It is gorgeous. It came with a high-quality tatami mat. It works perfectly for my Shikibuton Tri fold futon that I bought on Amazon. I looked online for several weeks to find a bed platform to fit the standard Japanese single futon.
