Taco Bell / KFC — Restaurant in Oakland

I have lived in Oakland for more than a decade and a half, ever since this Taco Bell opened. Every couple of months I foolishly decide to give them a chance and see if they've ever improved. I will spoil it for you, they absolutely never have. I very rarely get in order done correctly, to the point where what I ordered is what I received. You would think Taco Bell has standards for how much of what sauces we go on what food, I believe they've never considered these standards at this location. Food either comes with no sauce, or so much sauce that it's nothing but sauce. They are chronically understaffed, and always slow. Even during non-peak hours. Quite frankly, management seems to intentionally hobble this location, and I can very firmly recommend that nobody ever eat at this location. It boggles my mind how they manage to keep this site in business.

5/2022 update: This location continues to be a sad mark on the brand. I don't know if it's ownership or management, but this location needs it's franchise pulled until it even remotely meets the bare minimum expectations of the public. It remains chronically understaffed, and what staff is there is not correctly trained. Menu items are regularly missing, and the staff is constantly gaming the metrics by having drive-thru patrons wait in places where the systems do not detect them as waiting. This goes well above and beyond the difficulties that businesses have been facing with employment and covid for the last few years. At this point, it's basically a legacy.

This locations drive through wait times average over 5m after you order, at pretty much any time of day, and I've seen as high as 20m. You can literally see their scoreboard from the dining room. They lose an forget orders, get them wrong, don't have pickup orders ready, and the employees argue with you about how a 10 or 15 minute wait time is normal at a Taco Bell. The taco bell in Oakland TN is horrible! I am not one to leave a review so when I do its because the business either really wowed me or really upset me. My family eats taco bell weekly. Our taco bell in oakland has poor managment and immature and irresponsible employees that constantly smell like weed. The smell is always strong at the window. Not once have they ever made our order correct. I know....sounds impossible right?the wait in line is always 20-40 minutes and tonight was the icing on the cake. My husband sat in line with almost and hour to hear every customer in front og him get upset because they were being told that they did not have whatever they were wanting. My husband finally gets up there for them to tell him that they are out of Beef amd chicken! What the What!?!?Why are y'all even open?it takes for ever for someone on the head sets to greet you in drive thru and when they do they are not verbally educated. No signs are posted anywhere that they are out of these thing so it makes people wait to find out they don't have it. They entire community is always complaining about Oaklands taco bell and how horrible it is that the cooperation has let it go on being this bad for so long. This is the worst fast food restaurant I have ever visited. This place repeatedly has bad service and unacceptable food dining in and the drive thru. I live in the area close to this restaurant and have given the several opportunities to change my opinion but they actually go further down each time. I just went thru the drive thru today and ordered a taco and burrito cravings pack which I have ordered a couple times before. The girl told me that “they don’t sell that anymore”. I told her it is listed on their website and I’m looking at it on their menu board. She repeated several times that they don’t sell that anymore. I asked why is it listed on the menu board if they don’t sell it? The reply was I don’t know. What do you want to order?
