This location was very rude. I walked in without a mask, and a worker asked if I had a mask. I said no and he forcibly said, get out. I said I have an order already placed and Id like to pay and asked if someone can come out side to get my payment. He replied forcibly "I said get out." I said I would and just wanted to know if they could help me pay for my order. Again he said Get Out. I asked for a manager and he pointed to outside and they said they're right there. I opened the door and looked, no worker was outside. He lied. So I stood with the door open, standing outside and asked, where is the manager? And another worker said, I am. Now, both of these people standing next to each other, both knew the first lied. I asked if I can pay on an Appand then they could bring my order outside and all they could say is we said leave. Not once did they try to suggest any form of assistance. Worst way to interact with a paying customer. They seem to think that by demanding a person wear a piece of cloth over their face that gives them the right to be rude to people trying to support their business. I explained that I have a medical condition that the State of California legally exempts me from wearing a mask at all times and that by discrimination of my medical condition is against the law, they still refused to assist me by allowing some sort of accommodation, even taking my money outside and bringing my food outside was refused. Read moreAs soon as my family & me walk in, Zack said somebody will help you shortly. He walks away, now he's taking phone orders, no one's helping us. A girl takes our order, 4 sandwiches, she gets 3 wrong. 1 missing "the works" wife goes in & says it's missing bacon. Zack answers bacon is in the microwave. Mustard gets tossed on the counter, now "The works" are on the counter. "See picture" $80 for 4 sandwiches & we get this, completely disrespectful, I walk in Zach is hiding. A girl corrected 2 sandwiches, she was helpful. Never again. There's better options around. This was in Oakley off Main St.
Thanks for your reply: however Manager/Owner: 4 sandwiches were from menu: 1 Mr pickle, 1 listen Linda, 2 clubs. If you're saying things I didn't want: was mustard on 1 Mr pickle. The rest was all missed, 1 club missing "the works"=your menu option, available on all Sandwiches on menu & off menu. Listen Linda was missing bacon, avocado, listed on the menu. That's why Zack placed these items on the counter (or are these items we didn't want?) Getting orders wrong, I get it. Read moreVery unprofessional staff. Don't trust them not to spit in my food. Will not eat here. Tried to use Samsung pay. Was laughed at tried to explain how Samsung pay works. Was shut down and staff didn't want to hear it. Stay ignorant my friends. Stay ignorant. So sad....if I ever accidentally find my self at this location again and things are different I will re-rate approximately.
Update* gave this place another go, besides having to stand for about ten min up front. The food was amazing!
Only thing I would like to see is faster order and ring up. Take your time with the sandwiches. Just don't let me stand there thinking you want to ring me up and keep me waiting in suspense not knowing if I should sit or pay.
Might not be a bad idea to ring up as soon as ordered and handed a receipt with order number on it.
Whether the customer is rung up at time of order or at time of completion the till is still ringing at the same rate only difference is whether the customer is sitting comfortably waiting for order to be called vs standing there watching the sandwiches be made. I would...
