I decided to visit an old friend and ex co-worker of mine years ago at the House of Rock. Rebecca is the bartender that I went to visit with my wife and we had a great time. I haven't been out literally in years to have a little fun live music is a big deal and it's getting harder and harder to find and you can find it there.
Everybody was nice up at the bar they found me a chair I have a bad ankle I suggest if you want to sit down you get there early but it's a nice little bar with live music and excellent staff . It was really easy going and a nice crowd.
I don't remember the name of the band but there was a little lady that belted out an amazing Janis Joplin song one of my wife's favorites.
They have a small menu where you can get some appetizers I got a small pizza to go it's your standard bar pizza.
The most important thing was the attitude of everybody they were all nice Rebecca's my friend because she's a very good bartender and has an amazing attitude.
So if you're going to head out and want some live music on down there and you'll have a good time maybe make a friend or two. If you made it this far thanks and maybe I'll see...

I’m pretty sure there are drugs being sold out of this place, it went from a low profit business to a packed house every weekend in a matter of months, everyone seems (lit) and more active as the majority of 55 year olds should be on a Friday night. Come here for cheap drinks and cheap service. The younger crowd is a bit more pleasant, yet they don’t stay long (because they know the rules) as the seniors get a little grouchy about (non regulars) overstaying. Maybe this place needs a little “bar rescue” but regardless a good place to get cheap drinks (during non...

A drunk local comes up and claims he had been hit with water from my direction. I quickly denied it and it soon turned to a discriminatory battle. He yells in my face, “GO BACK TO WHATEVER COUNTRY YOU’RE FROM” So me, with light brown hair and blue eyes, was very offended. I grew up in Oakville and was the third generation to do so. Soon after the whole bar heard his comment, the owner proceeded to kick the designated driver out of the bar and let the racist local man stay. Spend your...
