Perk It Up — Restaurant in Oakville

Great find. I deviated from my Starbucks routine as I just wanted somewhere close, and found this place. How have I lived so close for a year and never noticed it? I went in today and it smelled wonderful! The owner Christina was friendly and knowledgeable beyond compare to a coffee house I've been to before. I mentioned I was an iced coffee girl and she just started walking me through options. I ended up with an iced salted caramel turtle with oat milk and it was amazing! Came from out of state for work and needed to find a good coffee shop. The trip started out terrible in a terrible hotel, but everything came together starting with coffee at this shop. The coffee is wonderful, but the owner, standing behind the counter with a warm smile, seeming eager to welcome us into her establishment was what really sold me on this place. She was not only delightful in conversation, down to earth and friendly, but was also a wealth of knowlage about the area. We felt much better about our trip thanks to her. Only have been here one time (so far!) & it was amazing! The lady working who I would have to believe is the owner was so nice, attentive, and efficient for working by herself. I was overall impressed. My husband loved his espresso, and my latte was superb quality! Not your mainstream overdone coffee place. What a relief to find! You can tell they use quality ingredients and love goes into every cup made. Such reasonable prices too! Especially for how good it was.
