My husband loves Papa Johns, so we ordered pizza, breadsticks, boneless wings, and Oreo bites for our Father’s Day dinner. I submitted the order online at 4:13 pm. It said our order would be delivered between 4:55-5:05 pm. Once 5:05 rolled around, I checked online and it said it was still being made. I checked again at 5:15 and it said it was on it’s way and would be at our house by 5:33. Around 5:20, it kept increasing the delivery time even though it said “ON ITS WAY” online. I then decided to call around 5:30, and they said “oh I think it just went out the door.” I said “are you sure? Because it has been saying on its way and I don’t want a cold meal.” And the person on the phone said “oh wait, it’s actually on the line being made right now.” And I said “so it’s not on the way?” And they said “wait, yes it’s on the way. The driver just left.” And I said “okay, I don’t mind if it’s a little late as long as it’s not cold.” They said “oh it won’t be cold, the driver keeps their car warm.” …in the middle of June? An excuse, okay, whatever. It finally showed up around 5:45 (keep in mind, I ordered at 4:13 and live 10 minutes from the location). The pizza was cold, the wings were freezing cold and had no sauce on them (ordered buffalo), the breadsticks were cold and hard, and they did not send the Oreo bites at all. I called to speak with the manager and they were “too busy” to speak with me. The person on the phone said they could make it all again and send it (ha! And wait another hour and a half? No thank you.) or they could give me a store credit. I went with the credit, but they didn’t tell me how much until I asked. They credited me for a large pizza (maybe $12?) when I ordered $42 worth of food, that was cold, and did not even receive one of the items. Super disappointing. I will not be ordering from this location again. Hopefully my credit carries over to...
Read moreMe and my friends ordered a couple of pizzas and a order of cheese sticks.
It said 1 hour tops, which was ehh but understandable on a saturday night. Then it was 1 and a half hours due to a mistake by the staff.. Then it was 2 hours....... To say the least, we were all starving!!!!!
I do not suggest ordering here, or really from ANY Papa Johns - unless you are PICKING UP. Delivery has been a huge disappointment recently, we hardly ever have gotten pizza that isn't room temperature. Besides the 2 hour wait, the experience all around was just absolutely terrible. They 3rd party to Door Dash now, so our dasher got completely lost. We literally even described the vehicles in front of our building, and she was still CLUELESS. Drove RIGHT passed our building. Parked at the building next door, had us come out to her... Anyway. Fine. Pizza wasn't all that bad, just room temp.. What REALLY sucked, was when we went to put in feedback, they made it impossible to do so!!!! Unless over Google Maps. They gave us no receipt or sticker with a order number on it, and on the website even, THEY DO NOT PROVIDE YOU ONE!!! So this whole "Tell upper management" crap is a total farce, or at least that's how it seems to us! Very, very disappointed in Papa Johns. How in the world do you not provide a order number on the website? Blows our minds
Very scummy tactics. Will most certainly shoot down any suggestions from the group to order some papa johns again in the future.
Oh, lastly. We ordered a XL and a L. They seem the same size? The other location I ordered from near here, you could tell it was obviously a XL. This one seemed much smaller...
Read moreI ordered a pizza an hour and fifty minutes ago at the telegraph location in St. Louis. It's a sunday night and I was told a maximum of thirty minutes for the order to arive. I called after 45 minutes to check on the order and the person answering the phone says, "the driver couldn't really find the house."
We live in the most normal neighborhood on the face of the planet. The house numbers are lit and at least 12 inches in height. We gave our order, phone number and address again and were told it would be on its way immediately. It has now been very close to two hours since the original phone call. I called back and was told to wait a second. I was on hold for ten minutes before I heard the person on the other end of the line pick the phone back up and then hang up.
You would think I was a prank caller. Someone who is not a customer. At least a crazy ex-boyfriend calling Sally back over and over again at work.
To put things into perspective we started a 95 minute movie at the same time we ordered the pizza. The movie is over, we are now almost finished with an episode of HIMYM.
