We have been to this establishment many times and have called in orders probably 15 times as well and have never been dissatisfied. Today was another story. Myself and my daughter decided to take my mother (her grandmother) and my daughters two children to Los Fuentes. We were pleased when we walked in around 2:15 on the Saturday before Mother’s Day and they were almost empty. We immediately sat down and were given our menus and were asked about drinks which we gave our order and our waiter returned and asked if we were ready to order. My daughter said probably in just a minute. My mom had never been there and was looking over the menu. He came back and we were ready. He took our orders my mom asked that her order not have sour cream or guacamole. He seemed really rushed and said ok. He came back with the food slapped it down her food had both the sour cream and guacamole the plates were very hot which the children are 2 and 5 so we had to move everything. He said is it ok that there is guacamole and sour cream I said no sorry before I could finish he grabbed the plate and walked off. He came back a second later so obviously just scraped it off which is fine but the attitude only got worse. There were maybe 5 tables full. One had 2 people the other tables were behind us so I couldn’t see but not large groups. He came over and I asked if we could have a few to go boxes he said yes and walked away. I did not see him but I guess he picked up my daughter’s empty plate and grabbed my mom’s side plate that had her remaining soft taco wraps in foil so as he walked away my mom goes oh he just took my stuff. He was at another table so I waited until he was finished and then said excuse me sir he turned around and was not happy. He came over and I said I think you took my moms goil with her taco shell so he came back with a piece of foil. I said no there was a shell in there. He goes mam I am busy I was at another table and you said excuse me. I was shocked. He came back to get remaining dishes and asked for my plate which I shoved at him and he said excuse me man you do not have to shove your plate at me like that. I said excuse me? You have been nothing but rude to us from the minute we sat down, from snatching the menus out of our hands to getting the food wrong (which happens) but then saying is that ok....no it’s not ok. Then when I say excuse me when you are heading into the kitchen you say you are too busy? I get it restaurant business is hard and customers can be rude. I am not one of those customers and I always tip 20%. Well today he got nothing and I felt bad at first and then I thought no I spent almost $80 and had a horrible experience!! My mom hardly ever goes out to eat and this is what she gets!! Well one thing is for sure I won’t be going back!! Very...
Read moreI would give zero if I could. We were greeted with very poor customer service. Any question was met with defensiveness. I asked for WHIPPED cream on TOP of my drink and received a very messy grotesque looking drink. My meal was not tasty at all. My chimichanga came out soft and gooey. Chimachanga's are listed on the menu as being crisp. I love them and have never been served one anywhere else that had an enchilada consistency. I don't like enchiladas.
When I asked the manager to make it right he put the responsibility on me and told me next time to order my topping on the side. So Mr. Manager, no next time you have your cooks not top it if its going to sit in back for a long time before being served. 😕 The service was awful. I mean when I had the audacity to ask why the whipped cream was so runny and all over my glass one of the staffers rolled his eyes and the manager told me it's because he stirred it into my drink which caused spillage. Ummm so you get a clean towel and wipe it up before you present it to the customer and I didn't ask for it to be mixed in.
When the drink came out I asked if he could add whipped cream on top please. The food came with no taco sause or salsa apparently because when I asked for some it was on my bill for an additional $1.50! I said at least 3 times this was our 1st time here and asked about specials and what makes their place special? What is your most popular appetizer or even dishes and the waiter did not know.
The waiter had a great smile but he must have been new. He also was doing alot of couging into his hands and scratching of his hair. Carry some sanitizer if you have to but come on!!! Overall I would give it a 0 if I could. Finally at the end as we were preparing to pay we noticed that the sauce we asked for was added for $1.50. I said, Is it not standard to offer some time of salsa or sauce with your platters? 😕 Atop that he didn't even bring it out with our food. I told him half way through the meal when he came to the table that he didn't bring me the salsa. So he brought it at the end when we we're done eating. Completely! It's Monday so the 2 children were to eat for .99 from the kid menu. They ordered hot dogs and fries. One of the children said the hotdog was strange in taste and the fries were soggy like boiled potatoes. But guess what? It was on our bill at full price. We sent the waiter to correct it and he said the manager comped it. That is the only thing they got right and they didn't even start off that way. It was exhausting and we will never return . I tried to upload a pic but...
Read moreThe food is pretty good... it's just your standard Mexican food. The wait staff is very helpful and fast. The only thing I didn't really care for was, that have these small private booth areas that are sort of enclosed. Like a tiny house with four booths in it. It would have been a great place to sit and visit while you eat because it is slightly more private than other areas. We, just the two of us, were seated in one of these small enclosures and since there were only two of us, the other table was empty. No problem, we appreciated the extra privacy, at least until another couple were being seated about 2/3 way through our meal.... there were plenty of open tables. The place wasn't very busy at all that night. So anyway, we were talking and having a couple drinks as we slowly finished our meals and the next thing we know, the staff seated another couple in the little enclosure with us at the other table. It was extremely awkward. We joked about it with the other couple just trying to ease the tension but we had to be extremely careful with our joking around and drinks because the other couple had a little boy with them. Probably of the age somewhere between 7 and 9..... Long story short, this wasn't the first time we had been there and most of our other visits were fine but, after being basically ran off on this particular visit.... we may never eat there again.... we haven't really decided yet. If that had been our first visit we would have definitely never came back and we would probably have given it a super low rating and would've told everyone we know what a terrible experience it was. It was probably the most uncomfortable dining out experience I've ever had.... luckily we aren't judging them from this one bad experience because we've been there before and it hasn't happened before... I figured I would include this in my review so maybe they can see it and maybe make sure nothing like that ever happens again to somebody else that may not be...
