So I went back and some very good items. If you haven't tried the Pork Chop Rice bowl, you should. The chops are succulent. Tender & very flavorable. Unique addicting flavor.

Maybe that's why I like the pork Summer Rolls as well.

The pickled daikon(asian radish) carrots & cucumber is so tasty I want an extra side of it.

Also, the crab rangoon is very tasty!! Best tasting I've come across just needs a lil more filling. Also, huge portions of the shrimp fried rice...not bad.

So if the owner wants my continued support & businees, accept the error of what you served versus what the menu said not brisket but tendon on my initial review below which is what's in the photos..beef tendon.

UPDATE: 5/16/24 Owner updated special board to beef TENDON which is what was served to me that day NOT BRISKET big difference I would NEVER order tendon. An apology would've been nice instead of blaming me the customer. I work hard for the $s I spent. I believe in a 2nd chance & will try Yings again. WORST EXPERIENCE!!!! Lunch Sat. 4/20/24 I asked about the Brisket bowl special $13.95 especially if it's tender & not fatty. This is what I received disgusting fatty chewy like leather brisket I wouldn't even feed to my dog. Unlike any brisket I've EVER had. To make it even worse, when I told the owner she did nothing about it. Said Asian people like it. This was my 1st time here. I posted pics of it on Facebook & on this review...last pic what a True Brisket Pho Bowl should be. HUGE difference in the meat. All FB responses were 🤮 one even said it looked like esophagus. Another said I hope you didn't eat that, another did you get sick? Another said she got ill looking at the pics. Another asked if it was cat or dog? She also rang me up 3 times ($42 & change) & I called my bank. Not one of the 3 receipts was the amount charged to my bank. I left with the worse headache. HORRIFIC...

I've been anxiously awaiting the opening of YING'S. For the first few days they were open, it was only carry out, because they had a hard time getting wait staff, like many other resturants. Never the less they persisted and during those first few days they ran out of food and had to close early. They had a rush of customers. I stopped by today when I saw half a dozen cars in th parking lot. The owners are the same people who used to run the Mandarin Resturant. They are the nicest most pleasant people in the world. My waiter was a courteous, kind, soft spoken young man. I was only going to get and eggroll and leave, but after I sat down I studied the menu and decided to get the Bun Tom rice noodle too. With in minutes my eggrolls were served piping hot with the House made Duck sauce (delicious on it own). They were so good. The owner brought the noodle bowl out and I asked if I could have a box for the noodle bowl, because I was already full. The noodle bowl was a piece of art. (I'll make sure i take pictures next time I go.) Being a diabetic I figured I'd save the noodle bowl for supper. While waiting for the box I tasted the shrimp, some of the noodles and some of the veggies, my god was it good. I ate all the shrimp and half the noodles and more of the veggies as soon as I got home. The food was Outstanding. The food was Awesome. They remodeled with an Asian flair and flavor. Prices were good. I expect, I will eat here a lot!

Wasn't impressed with the new chicken menu, the breading on the chicken was soggy and the fake sugar starch honey ruined the garlic honey chicken. Price was hard to justify for the quality unfortunately. However quantity was there for the price.

The sandwiches however on the other hand are good.

Original review before edit: Glad to see the original Mandarin owner started a new chapter in the food business.

The menu for me however needs some crispy chicken or tempora chicken of some kind be it general tso, honey garlic chicken or any other number of dishes that can be done with crispy chicken or tempora chicken as I don't see much on the menu I'd order in all honesty.

I like the fact they carry both Pepsi and Coke products, but a regular diet option for both would be nice, aside from that 'sweet and low' for tea and maybe honey crystals for tea...

*DO NOT EAT HERE* It's a chinese owned and operated fake vietnamese restaurant. They have no idea what actual Vietnamese food is. The "pho" was BARELY edible. The broth was overly salted, and the meat was almost like leather. The server didn't know what he was doing, and I had to flag him down to even order a drink; which he made very poorly. A Thai tea is supposed to be sweet, not dry. I had to have him remake it, which he failed at again. He almost forgot my bean sprouts/basil/jalapeño as well; which the portion was joke. They took a slice of lime and quartered that which was their serving. I know now why I was the only customer at lunch today. I ignored that major red flag on account of my work schedule. It's quite clear this place is going to shut down eventually. It's disgusting. They also charge you more when you don't use cash. It's quite illegal.

Glad to finally check out this place. It’s the same owners that once had the mandarin in Oberlin and they know how to run a restaurant. This time it’s Vietnamese and it’s delicious. We got the pho, it was great, large portions. I had the shrimp one and my mom had the chicken one. Split the Crab Rangoon - delicious. Will definitely be back. I want to try their shrimp fried rice, rice noodle bowls and egg noodle bowls. It was great tho, the owners are friendly and very nice, the place is clean and well lit. Our service was fast, went later in the day. Lots of vegetarian options. Im pescatarian, so I always look for that. Like I said we will definitely be back.
