If you delete my review like the others , I have time to keep coming back to place the same one. Iām not sure how they had a 5 star.
Nice ladies , VERY MEDIOCRE food. Bland to say the least , the macaroni & rice/peas were hard , no seasoning what so ever ! The cabbage was good. The oxtails were OK. Overall , bad food. Iāll let the pictures speak for themselves. This is NOT authentic Jamaican food . As I travel to & fro for such. My first red flag was that I called , no answer , I went to check if they were open (3:00) the door was locked. As I got back to my car they welcomed me in with no one in the kitchen.. My second was that the food is already prepared waiting for a buyer in what seems like a Mcdonaldās heating lamp. Idk , iāve never been to a place that stores food like that. Food had to be 3+ hours old. Iām guessing youād have to get there earlier in the day , but I am HIGHLY disappointed in them. This plate was low vibrational & a disgrace to the jamaican food...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreHello, a quick vent⦠just a few days ago I stepped in and ordered OXTAIL⦠I was served to go⦠big plate with 3 lbs of rice , your cabbage was bitter ,and to make matters worse, I got 2 very small pieces of oxtail. , I want to say tiny, a bunch of gravy with an unidentifiable vegtable? The flavor on the rice was spot on! Good flavor, moist and fresh, I wish I had oxtail to really taste , that gravy was good ⦠donāt let this PRican show you how to handle some really good cabbageā¦hmm I really wish I had take a picture šš½ā¦.$22.00 for a plate of rice is terrible⦠YES I WAS TIGHT around the collar, hungry and tired. Please be mindful when you make up plates , people work hard for there money. I donāt mind paying the price for decent or even good food in Ocala, give me what I pay for. Thank you for the ear and Iāll be back to REALLY taste the oxtail
Once again thanks for the vent!

If youāre craving authentic Jamaican cuisine in Ocala, look no further This gem stands out as the best Jamaican restaurant in town, serving up dishes that truly capture the essence of the island.
The use of real, Jamaican spices gives every dish that signature depth of flavor that can be hard to find outside of Jamaica itself.
Fresh High-Quality Ingredients used to make not only the food, but sea moss, organic ice cream, this place is definitely a gem.
My favorite dish: Oxtail: Rich and hearty, the oxtail stew is a must-try. The meat is tender, filled with herbs, spices with a wonderful surprise, dumplings and the gravy is simply divine.
