Danny's Place — Restaurant in Ocean Township

Me, my girlfriend and a friend went into Danny's with a service dog. As a diabetic with low blood sugar at the time, the dog was whining, as a response. We told the waitress and she said it's fine as long as we have the service animal card... I said yes and showed the card.. We ordered our drinks and placed our breakfast orders and there was a costumer sitting at the bar asking if my dog was a service dog. They kept whispering over their shoulders towards our direction and have the same patron walk over by our table to investigate. We felt uncomfortable and discriminated against, so we decided to leave. We did not eat any food nor did the food even get to our table before we decided to leave. I got up and told the waitress that we did not feel comfortable and that I would like to pay for the drinks, but no longer wanted to give any more business to them for the rude behaviors. The manager and waitress started getting loud and were yelling profanities, stating that he was going to call the police. My girlfriend walked out to go to her car and the manager ran after her aggressively again saying hes going to call the police for none payment... (I was still standing at the counter trying to pay). As a person of color, she felt threatened, targeted and prejudiced against. I then told him to stay away from her and he continued screaming. They lost our respect and promising loyal customers. God Bless...

Man what to say...the staff is beyond friendly and funny for starters, the vibe of this place is like a counter top dining at a family's kitchen. But let's get down to the brass tacks with the food. I ordered a bacon egg and cheese on a roll and was pleasantly happy with what I got. The ratio was on point and generous. Egg was fried just like it would be done at home, the bacon had a decent bite and the American cheese was on the scene with every bite. The roll was supremely soft and decked with poppie seeds. I wish I sat down for a bigger plate but I'll definitely be popping by again to see what else...

Small but mighty, this little restaurant packs a punch… A menu longer than the Bible with top-notch quality food for insanely good prices (cash only).

I ordered an omelette platter, OJ and coffee. The portions were gigantic... this did not stop me from eating every single delicious bite tho!

It’s a small place, one cook and one waitress and only 4 available tables (covid restricted) but that didn’t stop the kind lady from offering me a table made for 8 people even tho I was dinning alone.
