They don't have food so I can't rate it service I'll let you know if they reply to this comment on Google The place was filthy garbage in the bays old shirts look like somebody using them for rags The The hoses beat up not great shape they work and the pipes that hold the hose the pay I was in or at least the one I was trying to use was broken there was only about 4 in left on it and the hose was pretty much on the floor. There's three self-service bays not one of them took credit cards so I used money I put $5 in supposed to get 8 minutes I think it was okay it started beeping I put five more dollars in for another 8 minutes I only got 4 minutes I could not finish washing my vehicle so I had to spend another $15 after just dropping 10 in there so a $25 car wash self-service I had to do it myself $15 was the drive-through car wash to finish the passenger side of the vehicle. I belong to a car wash in the Brick point pleasant area as a sleep member I also go there multiple times a month that place they have somebody there to do the garbage everyday multiple times per day they are there they clean out the base they clean the hoses off they make the place look very neat clean and professional at night the lighting is like daytime I am very disappointed with word town car wash this was the worst experience I've ever had there normally it's pretty good The last four or five times I noticed it seems it's going downhill maybe it's under new management but I never had a problem in the past I hope this gets to somebody and changes get made It's a very good car wash does not many self-service places around and the drive-through is awesome but let's clean it up a little bit please It's not...
Read moreI give the Tavern two stars this time because of the food and service. I took my family to the Tavern at 4pm for the raw bar special. So an early dinner. There was only one bartender who served us our drinks promptly. But it took about 15 more minutes before another server came out to take our order. In the meantime my wife and I went to the small raw bar to get some shrimp and Alaskan crab legs. After getting our food, I asked the server what one of the sauces were and he said "it's the same as this" (cocktail sauce) "but old. I'm trying to get rid of it and most times when customers serve their own sauce, they'll take from it instead of this one." The crab legs and shrimp were good however. When the waitress did take our order, my wife and I ordered the tuna appetizer and nachos. The tuna seemed old and chewy and the sour cream along with the guacamole for the nachos were also old. Actually, the sour cream was bad. The meals my kids had were fine. Quesadilla and the fried trio for my son. At the end, I asked why the food was so off as usually I would rate the Tavern a four or five. The server had no response but did take off $10 worth of drinks to make up for the disappointment. I will try...
Read moreI can not say a bad thing about this place! Stopped in on the way home from a Hockey game and we will definitely be back. Casual and comfortable this feels like the kind of place you could stop in for one drink And stay all night in. If you left without eating though it would be a shame because their food is absolutely delicious! The peanut butter wings sound odd but are an ABSOLUTE MUST TRY. I had a strip stake and my husband had a burger we both ordered our food rare and actually got it done rare! We also had dessert and I had 2 drinks. Our tab was still under a hundred bucks and everything we wanted was served promptly. Service was so good we never had to wait or ask for a single thing. We talked to our server, the musican who was playing for the night and a kitchen guy who stopped to chat with me about my jersey as well as a few of the other patrons. Everyone was so nice and genuinely seemed happy to be there. If you find yourself in the Barnegat Forked River area do not overlook this place, stop in. Promise you...
