Absolutely Fantastic!! We got to this restaurant by chance in looking for a place to have a nice dinner..We were pleasantly surprised!! From the appetizers to the dessert it was cooked to perfection!! Our compliments to the chef!! The appetizers were the best we have had in awhile. The salad was just perfect and original!! Our main entree was salmon which we all ordered and it was just right. The sauce and taste and decor were just tactful, tasty and just right! This was a great find!! Can't rave enough!! The signature apple crumb dessert was amazing and enough for 2 people! The chocolate flour less cake was spot on!! I would give it 7 stars if i could!! Thank you for making our experience worth the ride! Incidentally we had waited almost 1 hour at a close by restaurant and they had another 1 or so to wait....so we decided to look for a nearby restaurant and glad we did!! We will definitely return!!! 3-22-22 Brian and Robin came to our house and catered my husband’s retirement party this past Sunday and everything was perfect. Brian treated our family like we were his family, serving a 5 course meal fit for royalty. Every detail was handled with care and they went above and beyond our expectations. We have such an appreciation for Brian and Carolina and highly recommend Piccola for any occasion and especially events of significance! 12-9-21 As always incredible food, incredible service, incredible atmosphere! Chef Brian and co-owner and wife Carolina proved once again that Piccola Italia is the most consistent food and personalized service in all of Monmouth County and beyond! Took my husband and 2 friends to dinner and wow…we loved it as always. We own our own restaurant and frequent Piccola Italia EVERY chance we can. Every time we come it is perfect…thanks!!! And they give back to the community…5 stars...

This is now our new favorite restaurant. Fabulous home made pasta. Unbelievable drinks. Great vibe. Love the white tablecloths. The waiter was amazing! We will definitely be back. You would never know from the outside what a great restaurant it is, but never judge a book by its cover, right??? They have been here 20 years and I can't believe I never knew about this great restaurant! After dinner we moved to the bar for after dinner drinks. The bartender was great. Surprisingly we were the only couple in the dining area and 11 other women at the other tables. It got really loud because the floor is tile. When we moved to the bar area it was much quieter and that's where we discovered all the couples quietly eating dinner at the bar. Note to self the dining room can get loud!!! The music is so soothing. What a wonderful restaurant! Did I say that already!!! The center pieces are fig buds. We saw the chef cutting herbs outside before the restaurant opened. How...
