I don't normally leave reviews, but this place is incredible. I love my regular black cup of coffee, but I've never tried coffee like this before....i thought I was going to cry drinking it, it was so good. I get 2 small cups of coffee every time, one I drink there and then another one to go because I want to try all the different kinds. I thought I liked coffee before, but after coming here I am obsessed, I just can't believe how good it is. I hope one day they can have a cardamom flavor and lavender flavored coffee and then I will probably give them my lifes savings to buy their whole goddamn batch. I've only found a few places that have cardamom and lavender lattes, but having it infused in coffee might make me believe in God. I've never wanted someone to take all my money before but I will sell my house and live in a tent but drink a hot pourover from this place every morning. This coffeeshop gives me hope in humanity, for at least until I finish my cup, which is why I drink it slowly. People spend thousands on trips to the himalayas and go camping for days to get some perspective and have a life changing experience, and I found it in a 3 dollar pourover. I have been coming to this coffee shop for gosh...10 years now? It had great coffee, customer service, and the food was good; however, I had a horrible experience a couple years ago with customer service but thankfully, that lady is gone. As such, my rating has increased but not by much because the quality of the coffee and food has decreased since COVID. The beans taste burnt, the eggs like cardboard, and the sausage is just low quality meat.

Response to owner: It sounds like your source is failing to help you achieve your goal to have quality food/coffee then. I provide feedback because I still believe in this business, but I don't appreciate the gaslighting to discredit me--all this does is reflect poorly on the business and is downright embarrassing for your customer service, which is sad because I LOVED this place for a long time. As far as COVID-19, never had it as far as I know, and I had weekly tests during a two year span.

At the end of the day, I know what good food/coffee taste like and I know what tastes like cheap fast food and beans that taste burnt like a big chain we all know. Harsh, but it's the truth as my taste buds tell it. I drop my customer service rating...

When I first saw this place I was fully expecting it to be like the coffee shop on the show friends, and while there may not be a big comfy couch to lounge on, the atmosphere alone certainly made up for it, and it is with out a doubt my favorite coffee shop. I love that living close by means I get to smell the amazing aroma of freshly ground coffee every morning. I don't know if the staff is actually family, but they do act as though they are a close knit group, and i love seeing that sort of environment. They are always friendly and helpful, and will even take the time to explain their menu options. Not that it's hard to understand but people today just have so many questions and the staff is quick to respond and knowledgeable. Everything is wonderfully priced and they have a great selection of coffee teas and sandwiches. They have both breakfast and lunch options for food and it's always made fresh- and the portion sizes are much better than other coffee shops (yes I mean Starbucks has tiny sandwiches in comparison) This place is amazing, definitely worth trying especially if you take the Marc train right...
