My friend ordered the red enchiladas. The tortillas barely had any sauce. Like the forgot to put them under the heat to toast them up. The sauce was sa little different from other restaurants I have ate at in the area. I had the beef fajitas. The one thing that kills me is they had great fajitas but you then serve a store bought tortilla. You know what I'm talking about. Like mission Albuquerque and so on. You can taste the preservatives. Yes I know that's picky but hey if you are going to charge that much for food you should at least provide a homemade tortilla. Server was fine no issues no woman. Solid 3.4. Waiter attentive. I was just about the only one there @ 3pm. El Marenero ordered with a Chilton. $30 one person including tip. Little spiciness, even the salsa was weak and I'm a gringo. Thinly sliced fish, shrimp large sized with good taste, portion doesn't match pricing. Plated well but spread out making it seem more than it actually was; the rice was a small portion. We ordered takeout for dinner, carnita plate, carne asada plate, a side of avacado, chile con queso and corn cake I believe. The food was temp HOT when we picked up and got it home. The carnitas are the VERY BEST we've had here in Odessa or Midland. The flavor, the texture, the taste is absolutely amazing!!!! The Carne asada is simply put DELICIOUS! Queso same. Totally worth the price. We will definitely continue to patronize this Mom & Pop Restaurant. We wish them the best and continued success, we definitely need a TOP MEXICAN RESTAURANT...
