Chicken Express — Restaurant in Odessa

If I could give this place a zero star I would. Went there today (drive thru) at 6:50 pm and order a 12 pc family meal, I was told they where out of chicken that it would take 15 min to this I didn’t want to wait so I left went home. Around 8:12 pm the same day I went back because I was really craving that chicken I tried the drive thru again order the same thing I can hear the guy asking the cooks if they had chicken ready which I’m sure they said no because the guy gave me the same answer as before, that it would take 15 min which I said “is ok I’ll wait”. Than the guy paused for a minute and replied you know what is going to be 20 min for the chicken at this moment I knew they just didn’t want to sale me chicken which is ironic. I would like to know who is running this place is like going to McDonald’s and ordering a Big Mac and for them to tell me they are...

Food was okay, but the atmosphere and overall service was… questionable. They gave no utensils to start off, so my friend had to get out of the car and go back inside to get a spoon (since we were eating in the car). It was 20 dollars for tenders and two sides (which consisted of a singular roll and Mac and cheese that is comparable to that of what Mesopotamians ate in trying times) and two drinks. The two large drinks they bought were 92 cents each, but when I bought a singular medium drink (which by the way, is the size of a kids drink honestly) it was a dollar? The tenders were purely unseasoned, and the texture made me feel as if I was chewing on a slow-cooked slug- it was wet and dry at the same time (how does that happen?). It was not busy at all and We pulled up and there was what looked ro be a child literally laying on the wall. Hopped down when we got to the speaker. Ordered a #2 and a fish meal. Both were pretty terrible. Now don't get me wrong I have loved ChickenE ever since my high school days but I guess they were understaffed oe something because the service was super slow and the food was cold or in my case with the chicken tenders it was undercooked. The gravy had bits of french fries and was super clumpy and gross. My husband got the fish and boy he has been in the bathroom puking after 1 filet. Even the notorious sweet tea tasted off.
