I want to start off with the server was very kind and helpful. Outside of that we had a terrible experience. First we found a piece of plastic in one of our plates (burrito). The server got us a new plate. Then we found a bug cocoon in our salsa. The manager at first did not want to come talk to us. She (manager) sent the waiter back to tell us it was an oregano seed. Down below im attaching pictures and video of the cocoon in the salsa , the reference picture online, and what she claimed it was. She was very rude and kept insisting she opened it up and found a seed. Aka the insect that was inside. She refused to say she saw the resemblance in the pictures we were showing her and she wasn’t going to argue about it. We were all so disgusted we couldn’t eat. She agreed to take everything we didn’t eat off the check. The check came and everything was still on it. She didn’t want to take what we agreed on out. The waiter was kind enough to remove everything that we agreed on. There was an extra waitress that came with and was silently giggling next to our table while the manager argued over the “seed”. She said the health department was there in the morning and didn’t find anything wrong. Over all felt the situation was handled unprofessionally and the health department should take another...
Read moreFirst let me say, service was impeccable even for a group of 15. We waited for about 15-20 minutes to be seated which want unexpected. Being from Houston a party of 15 walk in usually has zero luck getting seated without reservation our a30 minute wait so the wait wasn't bad at all. Cerviche was some of the best I've had stateside. Chips were great, not too thick, not to thin, held up to dipping in salsa, queso, and cerviche. The salsa had a offputting flavor, almost like it had Italian spices in it. Taco was dry, enchilada filling was dry and really overall the food had very little flavor. Serving size was good but no flavor. Someone who is scared of spicy food would love it, but as some who grew up with Cajun and TexMex this was disappointing, especially for the price range. Two adults and 1 child $70 was a bit expensive for a non metropolitan meal, especially considering we had no bar beverages.
Service:* Serving size:* Atmosphere:* (incredibly loud with marriachi band, sports events on tv and minimal walls to break sound travel.) Seasoning:-** Food quality: *(hit or miss, seafood was excellent, anything else was lacking) Pricing: ** (prices on par with large metro area even though Odessa is by no means a metropolis, bar items over priced)

Read moreHad the fish tacos, no flavor, so I had to take lemon from my water and 2 others to try and add flavor because the waiter wouldn't return to check on us. When we finally got our waiter's attention for refills as were were finishing up, he acted as though we were bothering him and was quite unfriendly. They had moved us from one table to another because a larger party had arrived and they wanted our table to put with the others. They returned with "free" queso for our trouble, which we were actually charged for, and the table they moved us to was dirty and sticky. They had also charged us for a side of cheese that should have been cheese on the beans, but the beans had no cheese. Didn't see this on the ticket until we left because we didn't get it until we went to the front to pay out. By then, my husband was frustrated and ready to leave, so he didn't bother looking at the receipt. Our food took nearly an hour to come out. Last time we ate there, I had the plate with a piece of meat and charro beans, but my steak had refried beans smeared on the bottom as though they had taken it off another plate. I don't think we will...
