Jason's Deli — Restaurant in Odessa

The management that is currently controlling this location 1-10-2017 and several months before are doing a wonderful job! There was a time when I worried that this location was sliding in a downward spiral. It was going under and I worried that if it continued we might eventually lose our only Jason's in Odessa. A total turn around, no one on cell phones, people who care about the salad bar as well as making the customer happy. The manager goes out of his way to accommodate customers. And it conveys to the staff. This evening they were a few minutes behind on sweet potatoes and Michael I believe his name was came to the table and apologized, offered a different choice of what ever would make happy or to have one ready asap. We changed to a regular potato and mentioned we were vegetarian. He said he was too and would make the biggest best vegetarian potato ever. And that he did! Even told us just how order it should we want another on the next visit. The manager stopped by our table before we left and we told him. I overheard him giving a "high five" to Michael. I ordered an online delivery order at 11:40ish. It was estimated to be delivered at 12:30-1:00. At 1 I called Jason's and was informed that no one had picked up my delivery, my food was cold, they threw it away and decided to remake my order. They didn't offer to give anything so I asked if they could throw in a drink or cookie or something. They said "sure". I asked for a Diet Coke and sweet tea. I received a Dr Pepper and sweet tea. The manager said "I will personally deliver it to you". This was told to me at 1:04pm. At 1:45pm I finally called them asking where my food was since my food was 2 sandwiches, a soup, and a Mac and cheese, and Jason's was only 10 minutes away from my location. At 1:47pm I got a texted saying "your order has been dropped off" at a desk on the 4th floor. I had to hunt it down to an empty desk that no one was around. Never got a call or anything saying I'm here I can meet you. Nothing. HORRIBLE customer service in my opinion. Would not recommend to anyone. Food was still cold when I got it. The best part about my meal was the chips. If I could give them 0 stars I WOULD....

UPDATE: THE MANAGER FROM JASON'S DELI DID GET AHOLD OF ME AND MADE THIS RIGHT. HE GAVE ME MY MONEY BACK FOR MY WHOLE ORDER PLUS GAVE ME A VERY NICE THANK YOU CARD WITH A GIFT CARD FROM TIFF'S TREATS. THEY DO STILL SOMETIMES FORGET PART OF YOUR ORDER BUT THEY GENERALLY MAKE THAT RIGHT TOO. I CHANGED MY REVIEW TO A 4 STAR FROM A 1 STAR I ordered delivery from Jason's Deli using Uber Eats so can't really say on atmosphere, but as far as everything else, I can. First off I ordered 2 strawberry shortcakes and only got 1. Second off I ordered a Spicy Sicilian with no lettuce and no onions and low and behold my sandwich is covered with lettuce and onions, so that was more money wasted and by far more than the $5 Uber Eats credit that was given, so since this is not the first time I've had issues with my orders from Jason's Deli I will no longer be eating there. I have not had any issues with other restaurants that I've ordered delivery from so it's kind of obvious it's not Uber...
