Johnny's Barbecue — Restaurant in Odessa

Only reason I gave this 1 star is because it work let me put 0 stars. BBQ? The brisket.... Where do I begin.... Extremely over cooker to the point of being inslicable. Then the lady tried to bs me about how "this is the best part in my opinion" like I was getting a deal or something. It should really be illegal to be able to call yourself a bbq restaurant and have no bbq pit! If I wanted oven cooked roast beef Id just go to a cafeteria. I dont believe I need to say much more, the ribs, and sausage were trash as well. This is another establishment who more than likely got lazy and bought a commecial smoker. I pray nobody after reading this spends money here. Entire menu...

Holy smokes the best barbecue in the nation is at this place if you're looking for a road trip this is a 1500 Mile Road Trip the brisket was fantastic the smoke on it was the best the place is clean the bathrooms are clean the barbecue sauce was fantastic and the brisket didn't even need it the sides are great the employees are fantastic this is a really great place give it a try you'll be happy the one thing you can count on is consistency the times I've been there has been exactly the same delicious brisket that doesn't need barbecue sauce but they have excellent sauce...

I hadn't been here in years, and that was a horrible idea!! This place is still as delicious as it was years ago. Every bite was better than the last. I will not let a month go by, let alone the years I did last time before coming back. Also, the 2 young men working were an absolute pleasure to be around. So Polite, Attentive, Courteous, fast to help they both were. I really can't say enough about how those 2 young men made our experience even better than just the delicious food!! WE WILL BE...
