I recently had one of the worst experiences with Pizza Hut on 87th Street. I placed an order worth $100, only to find out it was delivered to the wrong address. Once I realized this, I decided I didn’t want to accept an order that had already been inside someone else’s home. Naturally, I called the store to request a refund, but before I could even explain the situation, the female employee who answered the phone jumped to conclusions and rudely told me I was wrong. Her attitude was dismissive and unprofessional, making an already frustrating situation even worse.
Since I wasn’t getting anywhere over the phone, I went to the store in person, hoping to speak with someone else. Thankfully, I was assisted by another employee who was much more polite and willing to help. They approached the situation differently and ultimately helped me get my refund. Meanwhile, the original female employee continued acting in a way that made me feel uncomfortable—she was overly animated and confrontational, which only reinforced how poorly trained some of the staff seem to be when it comes to handling customer issues.
While I appreciate the person who eventually helped me, the overall experience was unacceptable. A business like Pizza Hut should prioritize proper customer service training so that situations like this don’t happen. I won’t be ordering from this...
Read moreIf i could leave a negative review i absolutely would do just that. Me and my girl placed are order at 7:54 and it took them to get it to us at 9:20 almost an hour and half later. The reciept says that it should have been delievered around 8:37. Im usually patient and can wait but the tracker also stated that the food was delivered and we still did not have our food. I attempted to call the store and no one would answer but kept getting transfered to a call center for san fransco. And when someone from the store did answer. And was asked if this was for delivery or takeout to which i replied with "neither i have an issue with my order" not one more word was said before i was transfered and put on hold. The "customer service" experience was just absolutely garbage. They didnt say they were going to put me on hold. Or that they would transfer me they just did it without saying a word. After we got our food ended up checking the reviews for this location and so many others have the same issue that we experienced and yet the same problem is still occuring even tho the "owner" only says lets touch base about this and never gets the problem fixed. Read moreI’m beyond disappointed with the service at this Pizza Hut location. Every time I place an order for pickup, it’s never ready on time- I end up waiting at least 30 minutes after the quoted pickup time, even for something as simple as two personal pan pizzas.
The drive-through is no better. You can sit there for 10 minutes or more before anyone even acknowledges you, and often, that only happens after you’ve had to yell to get someone’s attention.
The manager (or whoever is in charge) walks around vaping openly in the store and refuses to come to the counter to help. On one visit, I stood inside the lobby for 30 minutes waiting for my order, and during that entire time, no one ever went to the drive-through window to help waiting customers.
What’s worse, on a very busy day with only four employees, the manager sent two of them home, making the delays even worse. It’s clear there’s a serious lack of leadership and customer service here. I’ve given this location multiple chances, but nothing...
