Stopped there Sunday. Food was cold and nasty. We were there for an hour and fifteen minutes before our food came out. Other patrons got there after we did, were fed and out before we got our food. Waitress appeared to be annoyed. There for over two hours and never once received a refill. Substitutions made without consulting our table first. And when asked why our food was cold, the owner said "you order different things. Some stuff was finished before others and it got cold. And we only have two burners back there to cook on!" Maybe as a Chef, the funniest answer I've ever received about cold food. She was very argumentative and defensive. Made excuses instead of owning up to dropping the ball. Seemed like the regulars there were waited on and treated a tad better than those passing through. So based on service, time, and the horrible food that was presented, I'd love to give this place a negative star rating, but I can only rate it as a one star. Atmosphere and location was good. But that alone won't fix the...

Beautiful Sunday morning for breakfast at Buck's! First time my husband and I have been there and we'll definitely be back. Right on the river beautiful little town to take a walk before or after you eat. Friendly staff, Katie waited on us and she was super helpful, friendly and just amazing! Food was excellent. GOETTA!!! Biscuits and gravy...everything was so good. Nothing bad to say. We can't wait to go back for lunch or dinner ! Thank you

Monday January 22nd I'm adding on to my last review because I couldn't add a new one. This place is the best!! Went yesterday for Sunday breakfast. We've only been here a couple times but it is always perfect! Our waitress was so friendly and helpful and the food was amazing. I had a big mimosa and breakfast sliders with a side of gravy and it was so delicious 😋 the best biscuits I've ever had. My husband also had the sliders and an omelette and he loved it! We are so happy you're here and close to where we live. We'll be back . Thanks for being...

A new eating place that has some of the best BBQ around! The staff was friendly and efficient (for the most part) but with it being new, I believe they were still in training. We had a party of about 20 people so the kitchen was probably slammed with orders (ours and others) but we did get our orders after a short wait (this is not a fast food establishment). I had ordered pulled BBQ, mac and cheese and green beans. It was all good, except the mac and cheese was a bit on the cool side and I like mine very warm! The dessert was super good, cobbler a la mode and a huge helping at that ! The owners take great strides to made the best food available and are slowly expanding into two locations and taking no short cuts. I'll definitely be back. Their establishment faces the beautiful Ohio River on Front Street, so you can get a table with a view or after you eat, stroll over to the river walk and sit on the...

On our girls trip we stopped , in New Richmond on our way to Jungle Jim’s in Fairland, OH. We had several restaurants to choose from for our late breakfast. Bucks was the perfect choice and we will be back! The service from Haleigh was exceptional and the food was hardy enough to satisfy the bearish of appetites! I would highly recommend the pancakes and berry compote. We enjoyed our omelettes and one of the girls even had the cod for breakfast:) DONT a leave with out sampling the goetta! Goetta is a local side made of pork and more! It was so good! They didn’t rush us out of there. The atmosphere was so fun! We had a lot of laughs as we looked out over the river and then Haleigh gave us some good insights of local shops and places we could visit along the way to Jungle Jim’s ! Thank you Haleigh! We visited Milford OH as well . The cost of the meal is very reasonable. We loved it!

We've lived in New Richmond for several years and finally decided to try Buck's.. my husband ordered the 'Big Buck' which is a burger with pulled pork. We carried out and once home realized they left the pork off the burger (which is a key component to this sandwich). Luckily we live nearby and when we called they offered to make a new burger or give us a side of pork which we chose... But we still had to make another trip. Aside from that, the food was great! Highly recommend the brisket.. It's to die for! (It's "bucking" delicious!!) The mashed potatoes are definitely homemade and yummy! The sweet potato fries weren't great..maybe would have been better fresh but again, we had to make another trip. They have a wide variety of other menu items as well.

Amazing selection of Bourbon. The best I've seen outside of bars in the Louisville/Lexington areas. Terrific food. I ordered the half slab of baby backs with sweet sauce and vinegar sauce on the side. Both were outstanding. I also opted for the hand battered onion rings as a side. They were the best I've ever had. Think onions wrapped in a crispy, savory, funnel cake. I couldn't eat it all but I tried. Here's the kicker - the meal was $16! I paid more than that for a burger and fries at restaurant in Milford this week. Waitress was kind and attentive. This place is now one of my favorite restaurants in the area. I live about 25 minutes away, but I'll be back this weekend!!
