Waffle House — Restaurant in Ohio

The place smelled awful. Waitress ignored requests we made about how our food was cooked and it all came out very undercooked and my waffle was basically raw. They were not busy, and we were not in a hurry but the staff was soo busy yapping to eachother about thier personal business. They obviously were trying to rush us out by not allowing our food to cook properly or as requested and serving our meals basically raw. It looked horrible and should never have been served. It was obvious by our faces when the food was delivered that we were unhappy. The waitress basically dropped it and ran back to her conversation, she didnt attempt to check on us nontheless try to correct the obvious issues. Instead she just avoided our table, and my husbands empty cup of coke, until it was time to drop the check anyway. I am a server myself and am EXTREMELY polite and am very forgiving of minor mistakes or errors made by the staff. I only expect to recieve what i order as requested even if it means waiting extra time or having it corrected (if i am not happy with what i am served) although i try REALLY HARD not to complain. I couldnt even eat more than a couple bites of my food, it was THAT undercooked. Wish i would have saved the $20 and the $4 tip i left one of the worst servers ive ever had. She was honestly an embarrassment to my profession. Chances are more than likely i will NOT be returning to the Needmore...

I feel like none of the younger waitresses care about doing a good job. Last time I was in there the two older waitress looked distressed because they were in a hurry get things cooked, cleaned, and to serve the customers and the younger waitresses were standing around talking and not really helping them. The younger ones also have no sense of urgency and made me feel like they didn't care about demonstrating hospitality. All the male cooks are really great at what they do and I have never had a problem with them. There was a lady cooking once and the eggs were mediocre and she took a long time to prepare my meal (mainly because she messed up and the waitress had to tell her to remake it). Food was great! We came in at 11:30pm and dined in. There were only two people staffed, but they kept up with the non-stop take out orders and the few tables of customers that were there. The area isn't the safest around, and there were a lot of people hanging around outside in the parking lot. Inside there are tons of cameras, possibly outside too, but I didn't look around for those. I would have given 5 stars to my review, but don't want others reading this to have a false sense of security when in that area, especially if from out of town, and with the restaurant being right off the highway, I'm sure plenty of travelers will consider stopping here to eat.
