Bruno Brothers Pizza — Restaurant in Ohio

This place was recommended by a friend. Many people complained about the phone ringing and no one answering. I called at 5:30 and my call was answered promptly. I placed my order and it was ready in 30 minutes. I was not given a total price on the phone. When my husband arrived he paid the order and was not provided with an itemized receipt. The prices online did not match their actual prices. Use the menu on their website not the google menu. There was a $8 difference between the Google menu and their actual menu.

Their New York style pizza was good. The cheese and pepperoni were good, the sauce is tart and not sweet, the crust is crispy but doesn’t have any flavor at all. They are light on the sauce. If you like a lot of sauce you’ll have to ask for extra sauce.

Their wings are crispy but lacking in flavor. They definitely just fry them without any seasoning. They offer a variety of wing flavors. An order of 10 wings is $12. I thought that was a bit overpriced. Their wings are meaty but still not worth the price we paid. The Buffalo sauce is just plain Frank’s red and the bbq sauce is a store bought brand also. I believe it was sweet baby rays. I prefer something homemade.

I called and spoke to a manager to get an itemized receipt. They were quick to put someone on the phone and he emailed my receipt. I didn’t receive it but I was able to find the correct menu and the prices matched what I was charged.

So,,,, My wife TRIED THEM AGAIN. (7/5/22) She was in a hurry & going past so she ordered a Pepperoni roll. I cut off a 5" piece & sliced it open. THERE AGAIN,,,, 1 PIECE OF PEPPERONI & ONLY HALF HAD CHEEZE!!! I told my wife to take their number out of her phone! I now have a picture to post, to prove it! ( This is my earlier review) My Son & I worked outside all day, & we wanted something fast, simple & filling! So we took a chance & placed an order for a pepperoni roll & a sausage roll. I WISH I HAD A CAMERA!! Because I still can't believe the lack of fillings in each of the rolls. I cut 4" off of the end of the sausage roll & couldn't find ANY cheese in the first 3"! There were 4-5 slices of sausage,,,, nothing else. Nothing on the bread crust as in some of the pictures. There was a gob of cheese in the center 4" piece. VERY DISAPPOINTING for sure. The pepperoni roll was way worse, for fillings. Hardly any cheese,, & the paper thin pepperoni slices were see-thru. ONE slice in the first 4", & again, NO CHEESE!? For +- $7 each, we SHOULD HAVE gone to SUBWAY, for a 1/4 # of chicken teriyaki sub,,, or better yet,, to Burger King for 2, 1/4#ers for $6!! I went there to eat because I always had a good experience and the food is good. I went there on Thursday and expected the same experience. However I was very disappointed. They were busy and I asked someone if I could speak to the manager at their convenience. I had a flier I wanted to drop off and wanted to only ask if I could leave it for them to review later. The bar tender (apparently the manager) came over and before I could say anything he said he could talk to me and to come back when it was not as busy. Yes, I understand that and planned to return at a different time with the flier. However after that he never came back to ask if our dinner was okay, never offered another drink and when we asked for our check he quickly sat it in from of my husband and walked away. Not a word was said to either of us. I am very disappointed at How rude he was. I did get a response from Bruno Brothers on FaceBook and they let me know in all caps to bring the flier NOT AT NIGHT OR DURING KARAOKE.
